What's crazy about that ? No different to watching it in a pub. Surprised City haven't done it in the Sports Bar. Would certainly create a nice bit of revenue. As long as rules of social distancing are met i.e. table service, no more than 6 etc then it's all good. I'd certainly go.

I think the crazy bit is the fact the game they'll be watching is happening only a few yards away behind the blacked-out windows.

However bad the last few weeks have been for City it’s not as bad as this chaps problem:

“It’s getting harder to find clubs like Dorchester Town, Eastleigh and Barnet."

Clearly hasn't heard of the internet. Quick search found all three!

So the point stands that if a pub can open, with people shoulder to shoulder, from July perhaps, then a bunch of blokes who adhere to social distancing guidelines should be able to play a game of footy.

Go on I'm intrigued. How can you actually play football under social distancing guidelines? Corners are going to be different with everyone stood 2m apart!?

Agreed. In fact the longer the break the less I miss it and all the peripheral shite that goes with it. The Premier League especially are showing their true colours in their desperation that is purely money motivated.

I agreed with all the peripheral stuff, money and the PL. But after watching videos of us recently I do miss the cheer and euphoria after scoring and a good win. Daft as that may sound.

I've also been listening to these BBC podcasts...

... and they have been bringing back great memories of all sports.

I know way more important things are going on at the moment but the entertainment and pleasure sport brings shouldn't be overlooked. Sadly it's a luxury we can ill afford at the moment (excuse the pun).

  5. Signed.... even though I've never liked Luton because of the 'No Away Fans' rule they had once. That seemed grossly unfair to other teams... but what the Football League's doing is worse!
