To be fair I don’t really listen to Bristol Post when it comes to ‘transfer talk’. Won’t get excited just yet…

Likewise, just putting it out there.

One of the best players in L2, good age, an area we need to strengthen, local and on a free. No brainer.

    Watch him go elsewhere!

Guessing Nige wants deals done early. Then providing we get any offers we can't refuse for the likes of Semenyo, Scott or Massengo then we will have money available to replace them with quality additions.

I think that is the strategy.

Would not be surprised to see Massengo gone before the end of the month, then a good few weeks to reinvest.

Get the free deals done as soon possible, with potential purchases lined up when/if we sell one of those 3.

Yes. I assume its a neutral venue or do Sheffield United really play in York.

    Apparently...

The match will be played in York due to Sheffield United first team reaching the EFL play-offs, as well as the need for renovating the Bramall Lane pitch ahead of the Women's European Championships at the start of July.

    Yep, here’s the story:

I don’t see this going anywhere and, dispassionately, neither should it. Big fine should be incoming for the invasion including the length of it, and that police had to get involved, but aspects such as if the game should have been abandoned or the integrity of scunnies side are probably off the table.

"...named seven teenagers in their starting lineup and four players from their Under-18s side, including 17-year-old first-year scholar goalkeeper Owen Foster. Scunthorpe were relegated last month and finished the season with four wins, one of which was away from home.

Scunthorpe made three changes from their previous game against Hartlepool, with second-year scholar Oliver Lobley, whose own goal gave Rovers the lead at the Memorial Stadium, making his league debut. As at home to Hartlepool, Liam Feeney, 36, and Anthony Grant, 34, started on the substitutes’ bench. The average age of the starting lineup was 20."

Yeh nothing will come from it bar the pitch invasion. Still, quite incredible that you need to score a shedload on the last day of the season and your opponent lines up like that. I can't imagine they would of achived it against pretty much any other team in the league on that day. Northampton can feel rightly annoyed by it but nothing shady has gone on there, Scunny followed the rules.

The team are being led out onto the pitch by a 5 year old boy, Oscar Cridge, who was born with cerebral palsy.  He has lived his life in pain, and was unable to walk, but fundraising enabled him to have a complex operation, which is not available on the NHS.  He's been working hard on his re-have for two years, and he will be walking out with the team tomorrow - a momentous day for him and his family, for reasons which are nothing to do with football.

Definitely one winner guaranteed tomorrow then.  The courage of kids never ceases to amaze me.

Hope he enjoys his big day but the Gas  still lose naturally.

What do you not understand about my previous post?

In every season back to 2003/4 we had fielded a player who was on loan, up until this one.

Seems a clear explanation to me.

You need to stick it on the OS for him.

Basically Robbie Cundy= limited defender right now.

Like what I've seen and i think there's more to come. Would not be disappointed to have him here next season.

He's a cheaper, somewhat proven option going into an important transfer window.

I think with Ben Acey joining in the summer from Guernsey he will stay at least next season. (Although Ben is joining the U23s I expect him if reports on his ability are to be believed to be in and around the first team sooner rather than later)

    It certainly helps.

I think we can assume he is settled here and enjoying his football.

Very strange, I have my London VPN on and still Sky say "not supported from your location"  All others work, do Sky have better ways of detecting VPN's?
