Glad we are 1 up. Both sides look beatable. Set piece looked our best chance.
Get the next goal and we should be all good.

He always seemed to be such an immense player for you, I was shocked when I saw him play for Middlesbrough at the Riverside at the amount of stick he got from home fans.
He certainly was and had his best years with us. Don't think he really hit those levels again though, particularly at Boro.
We did well to get a few years good service and then a decent fee for him.

I played the vast majority of my football at Centre Half - typically I watched the game down the pitch. I after I came back from my ACL I played up-top as a target man pretty much - again I only had to play one-way, looking the opposite way down the pitch. If I played in CM, that was a different kettle of fish needing to play 360 degrees.
Could of been copy and pasted from Paul Warhurst's biography!

Haven't checked it myself but i think they said on RTV yesterday that Weimann's shots to goals ratio is:
The best in the Championship.
3rd best in England.
Makes the top 10 across the 4 top European leagues+ Champ.
Impressive if correct.
Watching the highlights earlier, what a brilliant lung busting run, right at the end of the game to get on that cross. His energy levels are equally impressive.

It`s my own version - every word must be an accurate description of those over the river.

If he keeps getting the games and keeps playing as he has, it's an easy decision.

Defended our box well but far too often. Need to use the ball better when we do get it.
Something to play for 2nd half, which is better than expected.

Denied a few quid more by some good saves.
Took his pen well though!

It's a decent group for England.
Rather play Iran first than USA or potential WAL/SCO game.
Should be able to get out of that group. Knockout stages are anyones guess but i dont think any side will fancy facing England in the same way we would prefer to avoid France etc.

Gotta check page 2 sometimes
Does anyone ever browse page 3 or beyond? Must be a barren place.

Good read that.
You need the right movement off the ball from others as well to make the most of it but it's well highlighted in the cliips.

For anyone who hasn't seen this.......raise a stick and a beer. Legend.
Really interesting watch. Love listening to people who are passionate about their music. He really knows his stuff.
Nice guy and very talented drummer.
Feel for Dave G. Sad times, such a good band and he can't be replaced.

At least he got on and got involved a bit. Thought Austria tried to play some decent stuff. Bale saw the Welsh through with 2 bits of quality.
Ciao Italy!

Doesn't start sadly but expected.

That's heartbreaking. Glad your request got sorted. This place never disappoints when called on.
My condolences.

I hope he impresses and gives them something to think about

Explosive atmosphere.
Gary Johnson doing the team talk?

One of my all time favourite players. Really stood out to me as young supporter at the time.
He just never seemed to stop working and seemed to be everywhere.
Loved Shelts.

We've got an Austrian international
https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/vienna-calling-as-austria-select-weimann/
Andi Weimann has been rewarded for his outstanding City form with a call-up by Austria.
Weimann, who has scored 18 goals in his best ever return along with nine assists, has been selected in the squad to prepare for next Thursday’s World Cup qualifier against Wales.
After numerous stand-by nominations in the seven years since the last of his 14 caps, the ever-humble Weimann is delighted to get the call, telling Robins TV: “Playing for your country is an incredible honour and I’ve never given up hope of being selected for Austria again. I’ve just tried to work hard for City and contribute with goals and assists and hopefully I’ll get noticed.”
Austria play Wales in Cardiff on March 26th (7.45pm) with the winners facing Scotland or Ukraine to decide who goes to Qatar.

We're good
Crazy to think Derby could be playing in Nailsworth next season.
