You need a good football man to manage the team and a successful businessman to own and steer the club. We have both. The main issues with SL have been 1) Employment of MA. You can criticise other appointments but MA was the overriding issue. That’s behind us now. 2) The nepotism of involving his son in the club who is not really up to it (but ineffective is better than harmful) 3) He’s too nice, which has instilled a ‘soft’ club culture. But in appointing NP he has put that right (NP is not a ‘natural appointment for SL so credit to him for overcoming his instinct on that) Future is bright.
