  1. Jobs for the boys until it all falls apart -> back to experience and show solid signs then fall out with experienced characters and revert back -> jobs for the boys and the perpetual cycle continues forever more and Bristol City barely move forward.

We had experience in the hierarchy jump ship or pushed out and players with experience in the dressing room move on. I am fully convinced in a year's time we'll be having the same conversations after a lacklustre season begging for a bit more Championship experience and know-how.

The best part of this season for me was seeing the academy lads getting opportunities running their socks off for the shirt, sure as hell won't see that next season.

BT has a job for as long as Steve and Jon want him around. Steve ain't bothered and Jon wants to do his colouring books so leaves BT to it. The only reason you got progression with the academy this season is because of the man you shoved off the plank because he hurt some feelings.

By the way BT reacts and responds to criticism shows how he feels, you're in a key position of power in the club, if you can't take it then just stay out of the way. I don't agree with everything fevs or ER says, no need to get butthurt over differing opinions.

This club winds me up so much with how petty they act, I am thankful we've got a fairly honest group of players who don't roll over constantly when things aren't going well, otherwise we'd be deep in it.

  2. Just walked through us. How many times have these lot won at home this season?

Can understand if they were a much better team than us and they've ripped us apart with some incisive football but Stoke aren't even any good.

Too many emotions, not enough behaviours, not following the perfect game plan of patterns.  Whatever the excuse is, we'll be in for another season of mediocrity with the setup as it is.

  3. If we give him millions to spend and we revert back to bore Manningball I am worried for next season. Will be another midtable borefest.

I don't want to become another Man City clone, the football just isn't entertaining for me personally.

  4. Twine is slower and is half the player Tomlin was, just my opinion but I think he's way too soft. Unless its a set piece he just gives it away constantly.

Get Sykes further forward and stick the young lad Knight-Lebel at RWB, put Knight back into midfield with James or Williams.

Yeah we're going to struggle without Vyner or Dickie at the back and they are pressing well but we need to go long into runners who can actually find the space, Knight and Twine aren't helping Conway in the slightest.

We can't wait for the overlap from wingback every single attack ffs, the forward three need to take some accountability, so poor.

If I was a Huddersfield defender I wouldn't believe this team hit Blackburn for 5 midweek. They aren't making many mistakes and look whats happening.

If it carries on this way then the inevitable will happen and it will be QPR, Cardiff, Millwall home games all over again.

  5. Just now, transfer reader said:

No, I really have nothing against him and even credited the very good save he made first half where he tipped a header onto the crossbar.

I take issue with his fan club who pretend that tame shots a 70 year old with a bad back would be disappointed to concede are Max pulling off miraculous saves.

He's been one of our more solid players this season, usually consistent.

Every keeper has a howler in them and he's not the best with his feet but he's a very capable shot stopper and controls his box much better than Bentley ever did.

  6. Max excellent, Vyner decent, rest indifferent.

If Bell misses that Twine chance at the end there would have been meltdowns on here, he's gotta do better.

Makes me laugh that our formation is a copy of Ipswich with Mehmeti tucking in and Pring getting up and down with Tanner not getting forward much because they are frightened of getting Clarke 1v1.

It's forcing Sykes further back to track when we he's our most consistent forward, that Hjelde at LB is dodgy yet we've barely troubled him because we are too focused on being an Ipswich copy, sigh.

James trying to get on the ball, Knight few ok passes forward but midfield getting ghosted past quite often. We need to get a foothold in there otherwise they'll run away with it.

Twine moves about as much as Tomlin, don't get the hype. At least Tomlin would pull something out of nowhere sometimes.

Lucky they ain't got a striker. Have a feeling that young Rigg will pinch a goal if he gets a chance.

  7. Look defensively brittle and toothless from set pieces without Dickie but without Max this game would be out of sight already!

Sunderland don't look too great but just shows what a massive miss Dickie is, missing that height, the calmness and his leadership.

Formation switching from a back 4 to a 5 depending on where we have possession of the ball, but we haven't really looked dangerous in either formation bar the first 5 minutes or so.
