Outstanding, as were Pring, Williams & James.

Excellent effort to make them look so ordinary.

King did a sterling job, too.

King played in a back three, not as a forward ??‍♂️

  2. He did well indeed.

But hats off to Vyner and Pring too. They supported him very well and were often tracking behind him in case he was beaten in the air.

They also kept an eye on anything behind the lines.

    King complimented the play nonetheless.

I really don’t get the hype with Urban Tandoor. Been a couple times now and hasn’t hit the spot.

A lot of the curries look the same and the spices aren’t great. You could get a Bhuna or a Patia and you’d probably not notice which one is which! Also, the medium dishes are spicy when they shouldn’t be, such as a Rogan Josh.

Shadin not given a mention?! ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️

    I do rate numbers 3, 4 & 6 on the list.

Golden Moments at 507 in Saltford deserves and shout while on the topic of Indian restaurants.

  4. Been mentioned already, but have to reiterate…

What a great father and son relationship. Great balance, even after a loss and a very healthy approach to watching/enjoying football regardless of the outcome.

Naturally makes it an excellent VLOG.

Yes I was expecting Pasture to be better, especially as others had said it was good. I've been spoilt with Steaks over the years, so I guess I've got high standards

Did you ***** the sausages first? If it's natural casing, they generally split.

A high percentage of sausages these days have awful plastic or plant based casings that don't split.

Everything split back in the days when everything was natural.

Lower heat and pricking the casing is the secret.

I only probe the sausages when cooking for correct temperature!

Honestly, you have to make an order at Cam Butchers if you like butcher produce.

Bring a cool box and bulk buy; perhaps go smaller first visit so you can sample some things, but I can hear guarantee they’ll be top notch ??

I've not had a decent steak at Pasture yet. Been three times and each time disappointed.

The Ashville and The Ox on the other hand have all been fantastic. Cooked to perfection and always quality meat.

It seems both of those places source the meat from Buxton Butchers of Winterbourne. Which again...everyone I know who uses them recommends.

Howells in Chipping Sodbury is also a very good Butchers.

    Very surprised about Pasture!

If it’s not too far, Cam Butchers are the best I’ve used.

Was disappointed with Howells as the sausages split every time I cooked them!

Just come across this thread. I’m sure Pasture has been mentioned. My favourite steak place. Lucky if you can get a booking at a decent time at any point in the near future.

For Italian, Don Gionvannis opposite temple meads is my go to place. Best lasagna I’ve ever had accompanied by some amazing dauphinois potatoes.

Went to Milk Bun in Clifton last week for a burger. Whilst the burger was nice, it cost £17 alone (yes that was with a double pattie). Mac n cheese was ok. Chicken strips were very nice! But having cost the best part of £60 for two burgers and two sides I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Don Giovanni’s is probably the most understated restaurant in central Bristol; a great location, but not at the same time (!) as it’s not much to look at from the outside. And from the inside, window views are of traffic by Temple Meads.

But they’re better than San Carlo in my opinion, while much cheaper.

I think they’re still on Tastecard if anyone else has one of those still?!

  9. Does anyone know if the ticket office phone line is open tomorrow morning, what with it being a match day?

My brother in law is over from America and would like to come along, however we’d have to move season card seats in order to achieve this! He went to the Luton game and probably thinks we’re amazing ??‍♂️??‍♂️

For this matter, it means doing more than buying a ticket (say tonight) then risking moving 3 season cards to accommodate.

What I’d ideally like to do is buy the extra ticket and move the 3 season cards all at the same time over the phone before I leave for the game tomorrow. Moving your season card seat(s) online looks impossible, which is a bit shit in all fairness!

Some help from anyone with knowledge on this would be appreciated.

This is a football club for god sake, not John Lewis.

I think you’re missing the point.

If there is a perk of some sort (which seems unconfirmed as of yet), then for some they’d rather wait before paying.

Like John Lewis, the club shop is a retail outlet ?

And the point (also valid with John Lewis) is why buy something and then lose out on a discount?

It’s more or less the same as shopping just before a sale begins.

The concourse discount is separate from any "Loyalty Scheme" and remains at 10% for season ticket holders.

Details on the "Loyalty Scheme" and any associated shop discount or credit seems to remain unannounced.

    Unannounced? Really bad marketing then.

How can they even put this back so far?

Quite embarrassing for whoever is supposed to be responsible. I’m not bothering to buy anything from the club shop until I know what scheme is in place.

  12. Hi all. Just wandering if there was ever any confirmation on a loyalty scheme of some sort?

The main things I’d be interested in are shop and concourse discounts and any voucher or bonus applied on club merchandise purchases.

There was previously a £10 voucher which I cannot see on my store account ??‍♂️??‍♂️

Plus I cannot find a link on the official website!?

  13. Enjoyable. Takes some getting used to with the hints, but there are some very clever ones with my favourite being on Kellaway Avenue by Horfield Common.

One thing you can definitely benefit from is finding some good walking routes and scenery that you wouldn’t otherwise come across, whether you find them or not!

Credit where its due the Club has done extremely well this year, and a far cry from problems of the past, especially the Adidas years! I clicked and collected the home shirt but had the third kit delivered and it was here in a couple of days.

    Lotto was the worst.

  15. If it helps, my work provides me with a Samsung A Tab for work, but it is used for streaming apps and games as well. This tablet is nearly 6 years old, works plenty fast enough, has a good battery (still) and hasn’t crashed or missed a beat since.

So as mentioned, a tablet can easily do the job and at a reasonable price.

  16. Don’t think I’ve seen any mention of starting on a points deduction ??‍♂️

Not worth getting too excited or being too ambitious yet.

This goes for a few other teams in the same league as well.

Just depends if the EFL can pull their finger out on the matter as it has gone a bit quiet.
