CiderHeadDan Posted August 9, 2014 Report Share Posted August 9, 2014 I was coming on here to say how well I thought Smith played, made some excellent tackles, positioned himself well, linked the play together and was always the available man. In terms of those last two areas I could see why he was Oldhams captain last season, he reminded me of LJ. . Have to agree, I thought smith is what we have been missing in the midfield in recent years since the old marv. Thought he did very well the second half and managed to take pressure off of the defence when Sheffield players tried to make runs through the midfield.
