Lrrr Posted June 1, 2016 Report Share Posted June 1, 2016 Hopefully this season will be a lesson to the powers that be at Somerset that you actually need some bowling to be able to win T20 matches and not just Gayle regardless of how many tickets he sells. The cost of bringing in him, Jaya and Arafat (suspect he's kolpak?) must surely have amounted to 2 good enough international players, does anyone think Davies is good enough? He's batting at 8 and averaging 8... Somerset should have brought in a keeper as overseas player for the year if possible rather than taking the punt. They have the money for Gayle, could you imagine getting AB, de Kock, Wade etc over here for the season or as much of it as possible?
