Bristol R*vers dustbin thread

Next up in the continuing saga ;

BRFC vs BRFC.

One team is an underachieving sleeping giant, owned by a dodgy foreign family who invest zero into the club,  play in blue and white clowns shirts in a dilapidated stadium, living on their former glories. The other is Blackburn.

Good luck to Derrick Williams, one of our double winners

I would like to know how they have spent £12m  SINCE the take over. If they count Dwayne Sports purchase of the train ground, could they include anything that the family has bought in the time since the takeover? They may as well as the club wouldn't own that either.

This is what swissgas posted (and to be honest he seems to have far more clue what's going on than Hamer.)

Quote

As far as I can see, in rounded terms, the £12 million has been spent to pay off the former directors loans  (£4.5 million) pay off the MSP Capital loan (£2.7 million) pay part of the 2016 losses ( £1 million) pay for the subsequent 17 months trading losses (£2.8 million) and make a loan to Dwane Colony to buy the training ground land (£1 million)

It looks as though we are losing £2 million per year so the loan owing to Dwane Sports will increase by that amount every year until Hani decides the marathon is over.

So the man with the money wants to protect his "investment" by putting a charge on the ground. However that "investment" is currently losing about £2 million a year apparently This is not going to end well is it.

.....but they certainly aren't wasting our time. This is an absolute comedy classic and everything we said it would be, even when the deluded ones were acting......deluded.

Hani has no interest in football? They seem shocked by this, but we're not. He had no interest in football and that is exactly the reason the Al Qadi's bought Bristol Rovers.

Steve Hamer's message was clear....Rovers aren't getting anything for Christmas this year, or next year, and possibly the year after. You just can't put a timescale on evolution.

The gift.

People are forgetting that Steve Lansdown used to regularly stand on the terraces in the noughties. I remember Wycombe and Peterboro away as particular examples. He's moved on a bit since then.

That's more than can be said for the R*vers fans, they spent more time on the pitch celebrating survival than in the stands, how did that turn out for them again?

It's going to end wonderfully.

it's comedy gold reading asschat at the moment, the worrying thing for them is the amount who still have their head burred in the sand, still thinking they run the bank still thinking they are billionaires,

The fact Hamer alluded to us and how they can't compete with us is enough for him to be burned at the stake in years gone by, but nope, they just bend over and accept it,

No wonder they haven't played us in the league for almost 18 years (when next season starts)

The Rovers chairman has effectively conceded Bristol dominance with his 'I don't see this as a two team city' comment.

Not even a mention of Championship ambition.

He must realise that we are so far out of sight that we arnt worth thinking about. Which is fair enough as I can't see the board of directors at Bury having that much of an eye on man united.
