Robbored
Christian Roberts winner against the Monkey Hangers. It was the loudest roar I can remember at AG and the Dolman Stand trembled. The other memorable goal would Scott Murray running thru the opposition team and scoring a brilliant individual goal - against Oldham iirc. Numero Uno
Louie Donowa goal against Tented Village FC shades it for me. That was a massive goal that got the biggest monkey (it seemed more like a bloody mountain gorilla at the time) off our back. Not the best bit of goalkeeping Brian Parkin ever executed but nobody on three and half sides of the ground gave a monkeys.......... A poster referred to the atmosphere that night.......it was the night there was a minute's silence for Des Williams ruined by a couple of Sag retards with one idiot shouting out "better dead than red"........I would put it down as the most hate filled atmosphere I've ever seen at the Gate. That was also the night that Andy Leaning saved Skeletor's penalty at 0-0. 5 minutes ago, CiderJar said: Cant remember his name, Mickey something..... Bristolian lad wasn't he? Show Me The Money!
Great watching some of those old goals, especially from the Jordan era when my City journey started. Anyone else miss the old goal nets from back then? Also why did the footballs always seem like they’d been soaked in bucket full of water beforehand

The best feeling I've ever had at a football match. The most nervous I'd been before and the happiest I've been afterwards. This game and those goals were the best ever to witness. Oh Louie louie
I recall that tall ginger haired midfielder, fitzpatrick, coming back to the gate and playing well for someone, in the smith days. I think him scoring against rovers might be thinking moyes though?

Oh Louie louie
I recall denis smith coming back, possibly 2 seasons later, with oxford. He said in a interview, if you would have stuck with me you would be knocking on the door of the prem now. Some of those players we had, i dont think he would have been far wrong.
