  1. Bit of fun, predict all 8 fixtures, get them correct and I'll post you 10 lottery tickets for next Saturday.

UK residents only, enter in by 2pm tomorrow.

If more than 1 predicts correctly, then the 10 tickets shared.

    My draw:

Bristol City or Forest v Watford or Southampton

    Blackburn or Wrexham v Brighton

    Newcastle v Man City

WBA or Wolves v Chelsea or Villa

    Leicester v Luton

Liverpool or Norwich v Leeds or Plymouth

Sheff Wed or Coventry v Bournemouth

Newport or Man Utd v Maidstone

That gimp Brookman just prowedly announced the attendance as if it was something to boast about. 9,300 odd (I forgot the exact) with 900 from Oxford.

So still less than 10k even with cheap tickets!

Build it and they will come? More like build it and they'll move from another part of the dump ( only to find themselves sat behind a pillar).

    Pathetic club...

Yeah but…. 5,000 of them went to Liverpool today, was all pre-booked for tomorrow’s game.

So, as we’ve seen Manning favours a high possession, high pressing style of football that is similar to what teams like Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea use. He likes to play with three at the back, two wing-backs, two creative midfielders and a lone striker. This system allows us to dominate the ball, create chances and press the opposition high up the pitch. It also gives us defensive solidity and flexibility to switch formations if needed.

This style of play works well against Premier League teams because they also like to play out from the back and keep the ball. We can disrupt their rhythm, force them into mistakes and exploit the spaces they leave behind. However, this style of play is not as effective against Championship teams because they are more physical, direct and like to play a much deeper block against us.  We’ve struggled against teams like this in the league, so, are we better suited to play in the Premier League than the championship? 😉

Exactly this was going through my mind all game.

Popped in there today(Thursday) and just a heads up that the kitchen is being refurbished and there is a possibility that food might not be served until  Saturday afternoon.

Just in case any one is heading their before the City v Forest game

Thanks, think I might go in there tomorrow, wait until Saturday and come home without seeing the game.
