  1. I am sorry but it’s not going well? What loyalty do we show to him? LJ had many chances because an ex player, Nige was dealt a poor hand and was developing the club, trying to move us away from being a soft mentality. Not sure what on earth we were thinking. Living off a cup win (which we made hard work of v 10 men). Not convinced at all. He isn’t going anywhere but this has SOD/McIness vibes. 9 points from relegation zone. 11 from play offs. So poor. Two dreadful performances and January business which has failed to lift anyone. Tinnion culpable here too.
  2. Don’t…i would sooner have LJ back. And that says it all as I couldn’t bear it!
  3. Abysmal. Our defending is so weak at times since Nige left.
  4. Their issue is talk about PL ambitions. Our transfer strategy has to improve. Look at who Hull invested in.
  5. What is wrong with this club and level of injuries. Just not getting sorted.
  6. 10 points off the target play off spaces at end of Feb is hardly progress or success. Perhaps explain that.
  7. Don’t know for sure but i expect our technical director is all over this forum. Players too I’ve heard pop on here. Who knows, I do wonder who BCFCShags was.
  8. Hang on……Tinnion and current recruitment were involved in a number of signings and the board also sacked Nige because they deemed squad good enough for top six.
  9. I could go on all day. But I’m not going to on here. Hear a lot of things.
  10. Tinnion is all over X when city win, disappears after a defeat or poor performance. Surely be constructive or don’t go on it at all.
  11. He has moaned about every city manager, however part of me thinks because of his praise given he is getting info from inside. Hence why he will now defend!
  12. Manning is another LJ in my view, likes a square peg in round hole and as yesterday demonstrated when options are available makes very strange decisions. Jury massively out and no way has this been the proposed upgrade Tinnion and Lansdown suggested
  13. I cannot stand that on the grass term, it’s such a lower league thing to say. When do you hear Pep or Klopp say it.
  14. Brian Tinnion brought us Heywood and Smith.
  15. We said this. We said today was the truth. Well there it is! Same old Bristol city
  16. Sums us up, Saints result was down to Downes injury.so poor . Why have Twine on bench if you aren’t going to use him! Ridiculous!
  17. I had a Saints mate attend in away end, his view on Ashton Gate was great facilities around the ground, the Lansdown is an impressive stand, but the Atyeo was terrible, concourse tight and facilities poor, felt like the Dell! We do need to find a solution to the Atyeo, it is such a terrible stand which ruins the stadium look and feel. Plus it gives a massive advantage to away fans with the noise they can generate, he was surprised how quiet Ashton Gate was until we scored.
  18. TNT is frustrating, I get it free with my iPhone subscription, but when you use the app on TV it buffers. Prime for example is perfect.
  19. Let’s be honest, injuries and suspensions for the Forest game changed his hand and he has forced into the 4.3.3 (to a degree) which was best suited to us. I am not convinced he would have changed without that Pring suspension but no doubt we are a better side playing that way, reminds me of the Plymouth and Swansea wins under Nige, so we could be that effective before. My concern is trying to shoehorn Twine in makes us narrow again, keep it the same, it suits us better with a back 4.
  20. James and Williams at home against a poor away side isn’t right. Personally like to see Knight deeper with Williams and Twine in a 10 behind the front 3.
  21. These next two games are really important, too many false starts as a club, let’s stop being Bristol City and beat the likes of QPR, don’t waste the last two games.
  22. Liked the look of him, tricky but clever too, think he can keep the ball for us well in winning situations. That skill he showed before being tripped was excellent, my type of player.
  23. He has improved for sure but no doubt a new keeper is going to be on the list this summer. Someone stronger with ball at feet and genuinely more commanding.
