  1. He is a much better player than Haaland and would have scored just as many, if not more had he managed to get the move there. Haaland’s hold up play and overall game is lower league standard as Keane said. Kane’s is world class.
  2. Agree with the view on SSN today that Alvarez for Haaland may have helped City win yesterday. Something different for Saliba and Gabriel to think about.
  3. That Man C team is finished. Been saying it for a while, thrilled that Keane referred to Haaland as a league two player, reminds me of the ex Luton striker Steve Howard! Touch and overall play is dire to watch, massively overrated, KDB also looks past his sell-by date. Think they need some new creative players. Arsenal are the future and can see them dominating for years.
  4. Better balance today but worries me that Manning said after it was to counter Leicester (the 3 at back). It worked Manning, keep it this way, possibly like to see Sykes ahead of Tanner on the right. Albeit McCrorie was a threat when he came on.
  5. This place is crazy. One win doesn’t change the fact he has been incredibly poor since being appointed. Today was good and if it carries on then brilliant, but we need consistency and we’ve been here before. Always expected us to win today, we always do in these types of games.
  6. Fully expected us to win today. It’s sadly consistency from here.
  7. Doesn’t look likely. Hasn’t been offered an extension as yet. I hope he does get one.

    Seems to want to stay
  9. Captain quite openly saying as signed autographs club haven’t offered him anything. Such a shame, he is a calm experienced player and we should be considering keeping him.
  10. Tinnion loves to talk about our sell outs as though our crowds are enjoying the football more under Manning. What he fails to realise is fans want to see ex PL clubs!
  11. Mixed feelings about today. Think we will actually win and paper over the cracks and end up with the great return of Brian on Twitter.
  12. The bizzare thing about the GJ side is we were not free flowing or good to watch in either season. Basso was the core reason for the play off run, when GJ fell out with him the wheels came off. Basso has to be the most inspirational player at AG in the past 20 years.
  13. How they carved a career in football is amazing. Good luck to them, never saw the talent personally.
  14. Arsenal will win the title. They just don’t get injuries, incredible really. Can we send someone to London Colney to understand what they are doing?
  15. Tinnion in charge with the return of the Millen as number two I expect.
  16. Good to hear the honest general feeling amongst the fans. The club didn’t read the room at all when they made the poor decision to sack Nige and his well respected team, the subsequent promises and targets around top six squad and aspirations and a progressive appointment have since been met with our Head Coach ‘learning on the job’. Simply not good enough, they need to accept the unfair sacking of Nige was wrong and in particular the Manning appointment was a mistake and move on, almost consult with the supporters group/club on next steps. Something feels wrong at the very top and after 22 years of the same leadership you have to wonder if time is upon us for change overall.
  17. Phil Mitchell would be a better choice than Manning. At least he would have some passion!
  18. I haven’t listened to a full interview since he started and I’m not going to do it now. Sooner watch Eastenders.
  19. If we cannot beat Huddersfield and Rotherham at home they all need to go. I actually think we will go on a run, I don’t believe in Manning, but the games coming up are fairly winnable on paper. It will paper over the cracks and we will struggle next season without a doubt but I am 99 percent confident Manning stays. I would have sacked him by the Int Break.
  20. Again I think we have to question the longer term strategy for the club as a whole here under the Lansdown’s. Feels an opportunity missed this season and has the investment been there?
  21. Carlton Morris too, we were linked with him before he went to Luton. Another one we missed out on.
  22. What an image, the Bristol City I felt connected with. Amazing what a few months can do, utter chaos!
  23. Glad to see some debate on this. One thing I think we can agree on is the pain of losing is greater as an exile. A 10 min drive home means you can get on with your evening…..what I will say is as a minimum the club should allow free Robins TV access to the Radio Bristol commentary to season ticket holders who live outside the radius, probably more of an EFL and broadcaster discussion but I am bored of dated approaches when everything else in life is on demand. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have a loyal points system based on radius either, but some consideration.
  24. West Ham do it the right way, through a ballot system. Arsenal are the worst, season ticket holders never get a look in, same old fans get to go each week which is really unfair.
  25. Most fans of other clubs I know think we are a Rugby city and call us Bristol. Perennial mid table boring club is what I get, this sums it up. Who are the constants? The current owners.
