  1. We will win today. Swans are naive and play a style we are comfy with. Will paper over cracks and Tinnion will be back on X.
  2. So many happy clappers at AG, we are no better than Fulham fans. I can’t work out if section82 are happy clappers or not. Surely they need to get things going.
  3. He was a good player for us, but also lacked ambition you could argue, comfortable in local area, nice place to play football, same as nice comfy job in playing retirement. This is part of the problem Nige was trying to sort, remember him saying what a strange club we were. Forest Green wanted him and that is the level.
  4. Do we really think they will sack Manning? I can’t see it, but lose tomorrow and the fans will undoubtedly turn.
  5. I’d have him over Manning. His Barnsley side was outstanding, plus had good experience as a player, winning major honours at clubs like Bayern.
  6. I never understand this. Warnock is brilliant, it’s not like we’ve ever been exciting to watch in recent years, had he got the job over LJ we would have been in PL by now, I strongly believe it. Look what he did at Cardiff on much less than LJ spent.
  7. For goodness sake. Not another one.
  8. Brentford lost but their 3.5.2 is effective. I don’t understand why we don’t simplify things and go 3.5.2.
  9. Neil was the right appointment for us when he wanted it after we sacked Cotts. Rest is history.
  10. You missed out some other dreadful signings too which nearly sent us to League Two if it wasn’t for GJ rescue act.
  11. That is sackable in itself. Can’t believe what I have just heard.
  12. Owners again fail to learn from past mistakes. Whole club is a mess structure wise when Nige did so much to get us on track. Manning out.
  13. LJ was similar but fans gave him space because of the ex player link. Manning has no history or connection with the fans and majority didn’t want him appointed so interviews like this don’t help, he’s not coming across well at all and if we feel that way, what about the players? He needs to go, he is not the answer.
  14. The root cause to the problem without a shadow of a doubt.
  15. They won’t sack Manning, we could lose every game and go down and they will keep him in L1. What else did we expect from him, his appointment so will back it all the way and keep influencing the owners. Shambles all around really.
  16. Had heard similar, not being funny but if it was someone with a good track record like a Nige or Warnock you would respect that…..what the heck has he achieved apart from a 7.1 defeat at Swansea?
  17. Tinnion is everywhere isn’t he. In all the shots of celebrations. You would think he’s the owner.
  18. It’s Mother’s Day so I won’t be going and thank God for that.
  19. McCrorie is ok but has been underwhelming.
  20. To be honest the 7 subs thing is ridiculous. Surely good experience for academy players to be on the bench and part of match day. Seriously getting fed up with this appointment, lost some great people in Nige, Curtis and Jason.
  21. If you see the play Dear England, you change your perception of Southgate and the culture he has built. Albeit I think he is tactically naive. Ah yes, Tinnion’s signings. Shall we list them? Or not! Failures the majority, yet now running our own recruitment.
  22. Steve has invested a lot of time and money in the club and deserves a bit more respect to be honest. Yes I think the time has come for change and the football decisions in general are baffling, certainly this crazy structure with Tinnion involved but we wouldn’t have the facilities now enjoyed without Steve. However he should have seen sense with Nige IMO and kept him at the club, things were developing in right direction, the Manning appointment is no better than Holden.
  23. Manning is another LJ. All about him and throws players under the bus rather than take responsibility. He needs to go, hes not good enough for what we require and as DaveFevs said is going against what he said were his fundamentals at the outset.
  24. For sure will Kid, absolute mess. Change needed or it’s the same cycle. I said it felt like Mcinness and Tony Docherty all over again when we appointed Manning and Hogg. A bit like when the Tinnion mistake was repeated with Millen and then unbelievably again with Holden! Oh and which managers have presided over the best football at city or at least positive rebuilds/successes? The experienced ones! Nige, Danny Wilson, Gary J and Cotts! Please learn Steve!
