Let’s be honest, Bakinson was a total passenger, he contributed virtually nothing in his time on the pitch.

Williams did well & fingers crossed he can now stay fit, but on that evidence King should play before Bakinson does again.

I think Bakinson would be better in games where we’ll likely have more of the ball, not less. Not sure today was the right match for him but certain games he’ll do a job & create from deep.

I wish they’d turn down the pre-game music volume.  It think it stops any pre-game chanting.

I agree. I think they should actually turn it off all together from 2.45 onwards, the opposite to what @2015 said.

Let the fans create the noise instead.

I think we have enough out there now to pin up a new thread for those of us who like to follow the progress of the loanees. Presumably there will be more in the coming days.

I think we have, in no particular order.

    Taylor Moore - Hearts

    Marlee Francois - Bath City

    Owura Edwards - Exeter City

    Joe Low - Eastleigh

So @Moderator are we able to pin this?

Not the usual 8-10 or so we'd usually have to comment on. Still enjoy seeing how they get on.

Hopefully Owura starts the next game, he looked very good for Grimsby in that division last year.

Who would you have in then?

Give Cook what he wants to come back. (Not happening, but my god the options look poor)

I think Burns could probably stay in there from the top 3. Sibley is on a horrendous run of form and should be dropped.

Wouldn't be against James Vince getting another go.

Have been to squeezed twice. It’s nice but I felt that the food had a slight twang to it. Not sure if it’s the oil they use or what. The guys behind squeezed have just opened a hot dog place in wapping wharf too I believe.
I do love a good burger and have been to Burger Joint, Three Brothers, Asado, Squeezed, Atomic Burger, oowee, honest burgers, bronx burgers and burger theory.

I stand by my opinion that Bronx (Clifton village) and Asado (colston street near the children’s hospital) are the most impressive.

Squeezed is the best burger I've ever tasted.

Honest Burger, Hobgoblin & Three Brothers all up there though.

I tried Bronx a month or so ago, it was terrible! The fries were unbelievably dry, I've never had fries like it & I thought the same about the burger bun.

I don't like to write places off after 1 visit though, so will definitely give it ago again, might even pop down on the weekend.

Asado really wasn't for me either! May have to put it back on the list as well.

He ought to worry about his own crap form .

    You're not wrong.

But he's got to be pissed off with how soon he's coming into matches as a number 4 recently.

Pope looks so good, he's started to do similarly to how Buttler was doing a year or so ago, getting into the 20's/30's then going out. Denly would do similarly but at least he'd see off 100 balls before going out.

I've seen little in Crawley to suggest he's the permanent fix in at number 3, and Sibley not been great recently as one of the openers either. Gives Bairstow another chance at being in there somewhere.

    The Ashville steakhouse is amazing.

I'll second this. Best steak I've had by miles.

I also agree with the other poster about Three Brothers. Great burger, but not as good as Squeezed down Wapping Wharf. Unbelievable burger there.

Seven Lucky Gods as another mentioned is also great, their korean fried chicken is a must try.

Caribbean croft is decent if you like that sort of cuisine! Curry goat & brown stew chicken there are both very nice.

  8. Last nights comments from Pearson questioning the players desire etc reminded me of Barton doing the same the night before.

Whilst I think the current contractual situations of many players is contributing to these god awful performances we're currently seeing, it is sort of a blessing in disguise that no effort will be required to shift them in the summer.

Joey Barton mentioned the amount of players left from his squad now, that will be in his squad next season will be in single figures.

This must worry Wael because after looking, only 4 of their squad are OOC.

I think the cheaper option will be getting rid of JB.

  9. Let's not forget that big thread they had on their forum years and years ago entitled 'OH YES' regarding how we were getting on. Think their forum is pretty new now so it wont be on this one.

This thread is big, but its because every single Rovers related post is thrown into it which is a good thing imo. Rather that than a new one every time they lose or something funny happens down there. Which is pretty bloody often.

    Smaller pitches and nets?

    Jesus man, listen to yourself.

I believe Emma Hayes the current Chelsea womens manager is in favour of this. Wouldn't surprise me if a couple more were as well.

    https://metro.co.uk/2019/05/22/chelsea-women-manager-emma-hayes-urges-goals-made-smaller-womens-game-9640291/

Womens cricket boundaries are smaller, but then tennis courts aren't. I don't think it should be written off though.

  11. To counter Kitson, there are views of Clarke Carlisle & Wilbs who absolutely loved playing for him and don't have a bad word to say about him.

Wilbs even mentioned in that under the cosh interview that a lot of the Birmingham lads will tell you he was the reason they stayed up, not Redknapp.

It is possible that Cotts mellowed out slightly since the stories Kitson - TSF has mentioned in books.

Tried this for the first time today.....absolutely dreadful.

First im subjected to a shamless gambling plug, then a Facebook group and then they start talking about Cricket? Are the presenters serious or trying to take the piss with their comments.....I couldn't work out if it was a failed comedy sketch or a genuine serious BCFC podcast. Toilet and phone jokes? Sorry. Terrible.

All 3 of those on the podcast don't seem to know anything about football tactics Bristol City or anything football related.

The one by Headhunter I think is better.....they actually talk about football tactics and the club....straight forward Bristol City talk. Not faultless.

    Sorry. Absolute garbage.

There was a lot of debate surrounding this when they first were offered the money by Mansion Bet to do the ads. But because you've not listened, or I take it read the threads from Stan on here you obviously missed it. The facebook group I take it is for the people who listen most weeks & also contribute on there.

Don't write it off based on one episode, they start with random chat every week.

The 'Cider With' episodes are great and well worth a listen.
