  1. They are rubbish this season. Miles off the standards previously set. It’s brilliant to see.
  2. The worst chant by far is the one that Cardiff/Swansea fans have used to try and wind us up for years that for some reason our fans have decided to take on. I can’t read, I can’t write.. and ends up with the words cause I’m a Bristol city fan and I’m a f’in w’er. Why would you sing that about yourselves? Weird behaviour
  3. We conceded 23 in the 9 games he was in goal last season. I don't think the defence looked confident at all. But yes, good save last night when we needed him & should remain in place until his form drops as you said.
  4. Had the highest pass success percentage in our team last night (78%). Wasn't great at crossing as usual though.
  5. I’m pretty against the idea of it tbh. I worry that it’ll affect our thriving league system here. If they do, do it, the money earned for each pass sold should be split amongst clubs in that division equally. Wasn’t it shown to affect attendances when it was viewable on red button in pubs for midweek games?
  6. Spotted them last week. Opened up opposite the Clarks pie van who still had long queues whilst they had nobody at theirs.
  7. I agree. Overrated. Cant see Williams starting. Think they’ll go King, Massengo. Maybe even see Sykes in there as he played a bit in the middle last season.
  8. Christian Roberts talks a lot about his issues during his time at City in his autobiography. It’s a great read.
  9. Enjoying this so far. Only 3 in but some big shots and both going for it. Joyce is really strange to me, never looks that quick but with the damage he does he must carry some serious power & he connects with a lot.
  10. Don’t think it’s right to make a change like that mid season. If they do decide on it, the club should have to offer the chance to sell your ticket back to them at cost.
  11. Would be intrigued to see how many come under Section 4 public order offence 'Fear of provocation of violence' IIRC a few got done for this after the Swansea trouble a few years back. Section 4 of the Public Order Act 1986 can be applied where there has been a fear or provocation of violence. This offence consists of the use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. It is a summary offence, which means that it will be tried at the Magistrates Court. If found guilty, the maximum sentence can be 6 months imprisonment. However, if the offence is racially aggravated, the Crown Court can impose a maximum sentence of 2 years imprisonment.
  12. Perhaps I’m getting a little carried away but I genuinely feel he’s going to play in the PL very soon & should wait for a possible England call even if it only comes once in his career like Kevin Davies. Guess it depends how Scottish/English he feels.
  13. I was there that day, and thought it was gonna end a draw. Went to the toilet & obviously as I’m in there I miss some of the best celebrations ever. Typical ?
  14. I see this mentioned quite a bit but as far as I remember, many of our fans couldn't wait for Diedhiou to get back. We looked weak in the last few games leading up to Derby away. We had only won 1 of the last 5 before he came back in. Johnson and his teams tend to follow a similar pattern every season, not sure Diedhiou returning was the main factor.
  15. Get to see Anthony Scully play against us. Always liked him as a player, started the season off pretty well as well, 3 goals 2 assists in 6 games League & Cup.
  16. Anything will be an improvement on the utter shite we seem to do every kick off. Long ball into the channels which rarely ever goes well. Never understood it.
  17. Really is mental on here after a defeat. I’ve seen Naismith should be played in all sorts of positions, cause he’s not good enough at the one he played last season winning POTY for Luton in a year that ended with them in the play offs. And now people want him off of set pieces like it matters what position he plays. Didn’t Naismith take a lot of set pieces for Luton last year? Got 7 assists. Also, yes we have 2 wing backs/right backs on the bench, but Sykes looked very good there last week and deserved his place this week. His performance dipped so I think we’ll see Wilson or Tanner next weekend, that’s the way it should be.
  18. Changed that a couple of seasons ago. They told everyone to sit in their allocated seats & no longer say it is unreserved. Of course, those of us that actually stand in that area still treat it as such. Couldn’t find the original email, but found a reminder from the club.
  19. Ruptured his Achilles not too long ago so be out for the season most likely.
  20. Not sure if it should’ve been a pen, but that aside it’s been a really solid half from Vyner.
  21. Ah I’d definitely say to persevere. Flintoff is a top bloke. Don’t know how he put up with a couple of the kids, I certainly wouldn’t have been able to! Found myself really rooting for a couple of them to do well come the final episode.
  22. Anyone got round to watching this yet? Finished it yesterday and it was brilliant.
  23. Usually Scotty is good as gold with this sort of thing. Message him on Instagram if you have it, because you're able to DM him there, even if he doesn't follow you. If not then try twitter.
  24. That tweet with the BBC article is made up. But this happened
