Yep absolute shambles. Missed the 1st ten minutes cos of the queues. Was queuing up from 19:25.

It was only 5 mins after kick off did they announce that there were no queues at the South stand turnstiles.

Not sure why they failed to just let people show their tickets and click them in. There was a lot of very angry people.

Same. I started queuing at 7-15.

No info announced until game kicked off about SS turnstiles being clear.

Stewards took abuse though ultimately its the managers fault for being incompetent. Kids crying because they were understandingly scared and fans obviously very missed off as they couldn't get in and missed a goal.

It could have got very dangerous and the club need to put measures in place to stop it happening again or the council need to revoke the safety cert for the stand.

  2. Was it just me (probably was) or did Wells seem well off the pace when he came on yesterday. The one thing I associate most with Wells is his running and workmate but it seemed to be missing a little yesterday. Maybe it was a hard game to get up to speed with but there were a few times where Wells never made a run which was on.

Appreciate what you're saying, but if it actually came to fruition and we were in the bottom 6 because we were losing 4-3 every week, do you really think you'd still feel that way?

Unlikely due to the fact if you were scoring three every week you would no doubt win some games and with three points for a win you probably would not get relegated.

Think of it this way...3 draws is three point.

One win and two defeats is 3 points.

With three points for a win a team that scores goals with get points.

People make claims like this quite often, but I really don't believe anyone who says this at all.

I've never seen a fanbase of any club who are frequently losing games express that they're happy that their team are "at least going for it", nor have I seen them suggest it's preferable to being higher up the table through drawing more games.

Under Pearson in 2021/22 we were a team who were frequently involved in attacking high-scoring games. The sentiment on here at the time certainly wasn't "I don't mind conceding so many goals because the games are exciting!".

Let's not be naive, in reality results are what matter most to people.

Just my opinion buddy and that's how I feel.

  5. Packers have come from nowhere to a win and in. J Love has really come of age this last few weeks and is easily looking the part. 30 TDs after 16 games with a limited receiver core ( injuries and experience) is outstanding. It's also better than any Bears QB ever.

If we beat the Bears and make the play offs a lot will depend on getting players back from injuries however I don't think this year will be ours. Next year though, we take back the North and the NFC.

  6. Left back passes to centre half, centre half squares it across to the other centr half, that centre half passes it across to the right back. Right back has a quick look up, decides there is no ball on and then passes back to the centre half who inturn passes it on the the other centre half who then passes it back the the left back.

Occasionally we will get a moment of excitement when the ball will be played back to Max and we are left wondering if it will be played back the one of the defence OR punted up field.

    Does that sum it up?

Just back too. That was special. Watford aren’t a bad side. We could have had a couple more.

Yep it was. They don't come along often but when they do I wouldn't want to miss them for the world.

Fair play to Watford and their fans as well. Very knowledge fanbase and all said we fully deserved the win.

Even hit us with some wurzels before the game .

Well done BS3...............i am very jealous..........wish i could have been there?    What a Xmas present?

Boxing day away is always a must but it's 2008 since our last win. When I say "once in a while" I mean like forever.

My hunch is it’s probably worse than that.

He hasn’t played now since April 2022, since when he’s had 2 ACL injuries & subsequently two hamstring ones.

Next season is the last year of his contract, I think you would have to be a real optimist now to think he’s coming back from this.

I would agree, such a shame for the lad.
