Happy Birthday Alan Dicks ... 88 today
Galley is our king replied to headhunter's topic in Football Chat
Very happy birthday AD, great times. Will NEVER forget Coventry away, an unbelievable game amongst many others. Thank you sir..... -
So you think Pearson is doing a great job then? For the record, I do....
-
Another fabulous positive post! Negative against Luton, all ifs buts and maybes, and now this. The vast majority of supporters are happy with the football so far this season but you always seem to look for something, anything actually to be negative! Why?

Blooming heck, from wife beating to robbing banks.....
-
And just like a car alarm, he's bloody loud and never stops.....
-
Looks obvious to me, they were told to play like this team in red.... Then showed the city match yesterday, followed by City v Luton.... Well that's my theory
-
243, if you want to use your bus pass....
-
It's not close enough to be a derby but I think it's more to do with the fact they are from Wales. Can't stand the Welsh so I hope we batter them.....
-
Sums things up perfectly, thanks
-
What, you think they are now likely to punish us by not giving decisions in our favour? Do you seriously think they are that unprofessional? It shouldn't make a damn bit of difference and if it did then Nige is absolutely correct in what he said... I support him and his comments, standing up for his players and the club.
-
Ooooo goody goody! Could you please ask him for an update of the AW transfer saga? I mean he does surely know the latest? I need to know if I should bring a leaving card on Sunday....
-
Well I really enjoyed that!!! No buts....

Surprised he played seeing he's off soon for over 8M don't you know -
"Ian Gay knows what he's talking about" Oh, sorry, don't think anyone's actually said that......

Sigh, here we go again! Did you have this written hoping we would lose? I must admit your damn quick with the negative post! You say "I don't think he's the one for us"..... us? I ask again..... how old are you and when was the last time you saw the team at the Gate?
-
"Joke of a team"? Serious question, how old are you and how long have you been attending matches at Ashton Gate?
-
Absobloodylutely with bells on!!!
-
Well, thanks for your reply, if nothing else it made I larf ? I said to myself "he must be Clark Kent with x-ray vision"! Hardly a practical suggestion though is it?
-
What if someone is stood in front of you?
-
Oh come on!!!! How many times people!!!! You CANNOT put the singing/standing section behind the goal UNLESS everyone in that stand also stand. That's how the old East End worked. A block of supporters sitting, next to a block of supporters standing means those sitting can't see a large area of the pitch!! Not only that but what about those supporters who currently have season tickets in that block!!
-
As I said, the old East End was brilliant, but...Everyone was stood up!!! There are No terraces any more well not in our league anyway. Loudest singing about a shoe says nothing about the singers are but maybe their mentality? Sence of fun?
-
Sorry but the South stand IS all City, so is the whole Dolman and Lansdown. Don't understand your point....
-
OMG! Forgot all about that, getting old mate ? Your right, not a pleasant experience!!
