Err, he was only asking for an explanation as to why someone would vote in a particular way. It's called debate! Of course I thought you would vote that way, everytime you come on here It's a negative view. Didn't see you post on Saturday... oh no, silly me, we won.... Top Robin my ass!!! -
Lovely section in the Sun today called "those were the days - on this day" 40 years ago QPR 0 Liverpool 1 18 years ago Arsenal 1 Man City 0 6 years ago Spurs 4 Liverpool 1 Oh and 46 years ago..... Spurs 9 ( yes nine!) Bristol Rovers 0 Colin Lee scored 4 whilst making his debut after signing from Torquay!!! Another wonderful date to remember......

Interesting isn't it, the current situation, good large group of youth talent with with the odd experienced head reminds me of the Alan Dicks era. Most of the crowd wanted Dicks out! But Harry Dolman saw something in Dicks and kept him.... the rest is history. We are now in a similar situation BUT it seems the roles are reversed. The supporters want the manager to stay but the owner seemingly wants rid. Please Steve, take a lesson from History. Be the bigger man and keep NP at Ashton Gate. There is no better example that that of Harry Dolman to follow.

Looks really thin availability doesn't it? Without McCorie, Tanner, Vyner, Atkinson, Benerous, Williams, Scott replacement, Wells..... But some on here will be wetting themselves if we lose!! Andy(some numbers), will be the first...... -
Gordon Low - RIP
Galley is our king replied to Curr Avon's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
RIP Gordon, can still see him falling backwards at Tottenham and giving away a penalty, was very young but didn't think it was then or now.... Dad drove us up with an uncle of mine and all the way up they talked about "G" strength for Spurs (Greaves and Gilzean). I got fed up with this and said "so have we!!..... Gordon Parr and Gordon Low!" Always makes me laugh looking back... -
Ah, is that the same owner that's just ploughed 70 odd million pounds into the club??????

Ed Martin, born in London, did a degree at the UWE....... Mmmmmmmm

What a joke, "replacement of the CURRENT South and southwest stands" You really couldn't make this shit up!
-
Very pleased to hear that. No comment on my first two paragraphs? Perhaps when you have been going for as long as me ( 62 years and counting) you might appreciate improvement when you see it....

IF, you actually are a Bristol City fan, have you not seen an improvement in team spirit, style of play since NP has been manager? Despite having to change the squad, get rid of highly paid dross and at the same time introducing many young academy players? Just as a matter of interest, do you have a season ticket? Mine is in the lower Lansdown having moved from the SS having moved from the Atyeo. Just asking for a friend.....
