  1. Not so nice when I went there, got beaten up just outside Mollys Fair City Irish bar
  2. If we beat Sarries, and Quins lose at Exeter, then we should be good to finish above them.
  3. The permutations are a nightmare, but I'm saying a Bears win over Sarries next weekend, and Exeter do us a favour by beating Quins, and we're all but there?
  4. Half that description of us is about Rovers ffs. Hardly our fault they're absolute garbage, is it? Ironically, you could say exactly the same about Stoke and Port Vale too.
  5. No. Put down the graphs and spreadsheets and enjoy this lovely April evening.
  6. Nice to hear they hold us in such high regard
  7. Did Chris Hogg headbutt another member of staff?
  8. Sure this has been covered before but why is Luke Freeman playing non-league?
  9. Nope. You're the one who said you drove to London and were on the beers. How did you get back?
  10. And we haven't even got onto your admission that you drove to West Ham and had beers after with West Ham fans.... how'd you get back?
  11. It also looks likely that, currently 47 goals against, will be the least goals we've conceded since promotion season in 2014-15. Next lowest was 53 GA in 2018-19. So unless we concede 6 v Stoke...
  12. It would be the first time we've had a positive goal difference since 2018-19 season, which was +6.
  13. Yes - I was specifically talking about the run-in though mate, as we perennially finish seasons poorly/average at this level.
  14. Bristol derby! I'd make BMF favourites for that
  15. ...for us. In terms of results. At this level, over the past few years. Taking the last 10 games as a run-in of sorts, I make it our best set of results since 2016-17 season. Last 9 reads: won 5, drawn 3, lost 1. We typically end seasons very poorly. Guaranteed to finish in 12th at a minimum, our best league finish since 2019-20 season. A bit of momentum going into next season? Here's hoping.
  16. I've never got past the taster box! Good value too, tenner and a drink included
  17. The taster box from LJ Hugs in Broadmead. My god, unbelievable street food. One in Bath too that's exactly the same.
  18. For any City fan, or indeed fan of english football, the preference has to be Ipswich. Every time a parachute club goes straight back up, it's another kick in the teeth for the rest of us. A non-parachute club going up gives us some hope, at least.
  19. Finishing ahead of Cardiff is all we have to play for
  20. West Ham (h) was the best atmosphere I've experienced at AG since the Man U win in 2017. Proper old skool up in Dolman, what was block B.
  21. Agree with this. Bringing in "cover" makes the situation potentially very messy. And if you already have a club owner that has very different ideas on how to run a club to the manager and "doesn't always see eye to eye" with the manager (Steve's exact words), and that manager is out of contract at the end of the season, then the reality is they are going to make a clean break.
