Saw them at AEK Boco back in September and they looked a very decent side, clearly too good for that level.

Was it 2 home wins in our opening 7 of the Championship season, Dave?
-
Yep still at the Mundys. And now have three stands with a total capacity of 300 seating/standing. FA regs have really lifted the requirements Likewise for Taunton. I know it's padded by away followings, but still.

Good memories. I remember the Murray and Trundle goals so vividly, both right in front of the away end. -
I think it's an overblown myth. I think there's about a couple of thousand Welsh speakers left in Patagonia, mostly for tourism purposes.

Surely you're making the point? A big loss for Welsh football, but beyond that, not so much?

Feels like a dream now that he even played for us. And now he hates us

He was an Argentinian great, and a football great.

This may be as good as we get and he's not even talking about City. I think the article reminds us of his character traits though, and the hubris of the man. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2024/04/17/bristol-bears-back-attacking-steve-landsdown-premiership/ -
Just back from Taunton v Torquay. The Gulls secured survival with a 2-1 win in a game where both teams showed their nerves, as it was dreadful as a spectacle. How those Torquay players are professionals I'll never know. I assume most will be out of contract this summer and won't find new clubs. A painful night for Taunton. Probably created the better chances but Torquay went ahead with two cracking goals. Taunton hit the post and then missed a sitter in about the 80th minute. Could well be the difference between staying up and going down. Simple equation now, beat Weston on Thursday and Hemel on Saturday to stay up. Ben Acey number 11 for Taunton, on loan from City. Looked alright and has something about him, but difficult to make an assessment in such a poor game of football.

John Mousinho though. 37 years old. 74 games in charge of Pompey in his first managerial job and secured promotion. Only lost 10 games.

Isn't Josh Taylor v Catterall 2 the week in between too?

For anyone that wants to dress for the occasion Gurds of Taunton do the 3 spot neckerchief! https://www.gurds.co.uk/accessories/handkerchief/wurzels-red-spot-neckerchief__1668

You are actually wrong there. The Wurzels still continue to have a decent following amongst younger people, including students. I was at the gig they played after the Bears v Glos game last season and it was absolutely packed. Anyone that wants to get a decent position I'd advise leaving the game at least 5-10 mins early.

I don't want to hear from him, but we should. He's still the club owner and ultimate decision-maker. -
That tackle at Carlisle away. If you know, you know.
