Lansdown had brought in mark Ashton in as a recruitment consultant. He oversaw the signings of overpaid under achievers . The squad was in a terrible mess when SOD took over. He got rid of a lot of that shite & set the foundations for the title winning side , bringing in fielding, jet , pack, flint . The one glaring shining turd in all of that was Lansdown making Ashton CEO a few years later after completely ******* the club over previously . Unbelievable really

I don’t see any evidence that it’ll get better . He hasn’t been here for 2 or 3 games. It’s 5 months & the football is regressing . The players clearly don’t believe in his tactics . I’m interested in what you see in the performances to suggest it’ll get better

This is it . We’re in trouble . If we had a a sound board of directors . A good competent CEO & director of football who most of us trusted, but had just made a poor choice of manager . Fine .
