  1. Possibly , but he sets up differently for every game depending on who we're facing . So if a quicker more direct player in Sykes was a better option then why not play him. He obviously thought differently
  2. The worry is that he can’t adapt . It’s pretty clear he inherited a squad that’s not capable of playing the way he wants . He’s unable though to set us up as needed & change slowly as he gets the players he wants . That must be a big worry , it is for me.
  3. That’s because he wants emotionless players . Whatever that means . Football is all about emotion . I think he means players need to make decisions with cool heads. If that’s what he means then bloody say it. I thought I could give him more time than I have but he’s a bluffer & I can’t watch his style of football
  4. It was obvious subs though & you could say Sykes should have started . Therefore he got it wrong to start with
  5. That’s the basics of his job . He shouldn’t be celebrated for it when it’s a one off . It was easy to see the problems mid week & he did nothing
  6. **** me . Are you blind ? That was abysmal as has most of the football under manning . We will get relegated with him in charge next season .
  7. I don’t think I’ve seen a worse player at championship level . Although we’ve had a few
  8. I was thinking. If we can raise our game 10% they’re there for the taking. We’re not as bad as we’re playing but Swansea are shocking . Papering over the cracks though , he has to go .
  9. Sykes had the ball , two swans players closed him down . Mcrorie just had to move infield 5 yards to receive the ball & just stood there .
  10. He also said earlier. Bristol City don’t look interested. He’s right Don’t bother
  11. I’d never accuse this squad of players of not trying but I do think they’re not having this manager . They’ve seen through him
  12. His parents originally named him Ronaldo . Then they watched him play football
  13. I thought the same , as ridiculous as it sounds . There’s nobody else because they’ll be gone with manning
  14. Wow , just put the game on . Ground is half full . Combination of a lot of things but that’s surprisingly low . Hope Jonny crayon takes note
  15. Just can’t warm to the bloke. It’s not his fault really. Should never have been given the job. I want him & tinnion gone but would never want us to lose a game . **** knows who would take over as caretaker boss if he did
  16. How bad it’s got for me. I don’t have a second club but like many , football is in the blood . I thought earlier . Villa spurs should be a good game to watch . Then realised it partially clashes with our game & was a bit gutted
  17. Football was different then . It’s big business now but I agree . I still have a quizzical look when someone walks past with a slice of pizza or curried goat at a football match each to their own though . bovril & a horse pie was the staple diet. Not many of us miss those days food wise but the football I do . It’s so sterile now . Every club from the prem to league 2 wants to play out from the back , split centre backs etc etc Little spontaneity to the game anymore .
  18. Another reason for me not renew. Five games on sky every weekend . Three o’clock Saturdays used to be sacrosanct . It’s all over the place now . I hope the tv company’s have compensated the clubs with enough money because I can’t see how crowds won’t drop off
  19. I get that & have wrestled mentally for a few months about renewing . That last day to renew will be tough , but I just can’t stand the Lansdown’s tenure anymore. I’ll get a membership & pick & choose my games until their gone
  20. Love Weymouth any time of year. We always go for remembrance weekend . It was a very important port on D day .
  21. I’ve been a season ticket holder for 24 years. Supported the club since age of 5 . First season was 76/77 (glory hunter) I’ve done the blindly following no matter what , especially under the LJ years. It’s an age thing definitely as my favourite era was under TC . However im bored with it all under the lansdowns now . I’ve missed more games this season than ever before & look for reasons not to go now . So , my question is . Are you going today because it’s what you do. same as me , bored with it still as enthusiastic as ever . Theres no right or wrong , it’s how you feel . I’ll go to the Leicester game because a few of us are out after the game . Apart from that I’m done this season . I really do hope we win today to take pressure off
  22. Play to our strengths which is counter attacking. Let Swansea have the ball & press them high . That’s when we’re at our best imo
