Probably the most complete refereeing performance I’ve seen ever from a UK based referee.
We slate them when they’re bad, so it’s only fair they get a mention when they’re excellent.
Got everything right and his attitude towards attempting to play an advantage and then bringing it back was exemplary. A really top performance.
Certainly took his time blowing the whistle though!
Agreed he got pretty much every decision right

Bit concerned to see Gibbs-White coming on has been quality in the PL lately

Good half. Not outclassed or outplayed by another team above us.
Mehmeti is an enigma, either going to do something special or continue to frustrate, do like him though.
Did laugh, apparently Ross McCrorie has had a great season according to the commentator.
Yeah noticed that. I'd hate to see his idea of a bad season!

Think the forest defender gets the slightest touch there before it reaches Conway. Surely scores otherwise

That was phenomenal from Zak!

The Swansea fans in a group chat I'm in are having an absolute meltdown. One even left the group I think me sending him Alex Scott pictures was just too much for him

It is round about the 10th Anniversary of when Chelsea sold probably the best midfielder to have ever graced the Premiership, for 18 Mill to Wolfsburg? All that money and all those experts, and they let him slip through their fingers for pretty much a pittance in relation to his talent. Poor olde Chelsea........Ha!!
A midfield of players Chelsea let go could be

Still has to be Neymar for me. Everything wrong with modern football in the form of one detestable bloke. I hope his legs fall off
I remember once getting very annoyed with a Neymar "dive" in the 2014 world cup. Then turned out he had broken his back.
I felt a bit silly after that one!

Not marking Jarrod Bowen is certainly an.... interesting tactic.

No we didn't according to the statement at the time.
West Ham asked if they could bring it, their request was rejected.

Suprised they didn't bring it anyway, they brought an ineligible player, what's an ineligible bubble machine compared to that

Connolly is a good player.........but what a bloody wimp!! Leggings, down for about half an hour, signaling to come off then playing another 20 minutes. Quality strike in the middle of all of the drama though.
Was thinking that last night, must be so frustrating to watch as a Hull fan. Bags of quality but spent more of the game on his arse than his feet.

Anyone watching the villa game? Just saw the score and then looked at the stats! Look like they are battering Man City. Anyone watching able to confirm?
Absolutely dominated them.
1-0 flatters City massively, a bit more composure up front and it would have been 4+.

This game has really demonstrated that Sykes should only ever play on the right.
Been absolutely class since shifting over after looking awful first 20.

Gentleman's Dub Club are always great, never did catch Caravan Palace though - I'm not sure it's quite what most people on this forum are into but Boomtown often has some great and quirky acts.
Yeah every time GDC are on a line up I say to myself I'll see someone else for a change, then end up at the front for their entire set!
Caravan Palace were the closing set at Boomtown 2013(ish) and their live show with loads of fireworks on the town centre was quite an experience.
Haven't been to Boomtown for a good few years now, am definitely considering it for next year though.

Went to Hammersmith Apollo to see the Saw Doctors last night, crazy night which ranks up there with the best gigs I've been to.
Saw Doctors were my first ever gig! Loads of fun, easily the most pissed I have ever seen my dad

And therein lies my problem... There's no way I make it into work the following day!
I do. Work use one hotel and one hotel only, so sadly my only three options are a taxi at £40 plus, getting back to the hotel 3.5 his after the match ends, or finding someone who's driving and doesn't mind dropping me off on the way home.
The first two are non starters, so it's a case of "Help me OTIB Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope"!
Worth posting on the blackburn forum? More likely to be local fans making the trip (although they might ditch you if we win )
