If its mandated by the SAG that we HAVE cover 800 or so seats in the Atyeo anyway, why not cover them with segregation vertically and force away fans to the left hand side of the stand?
Reduce the max away following to say 2k and then release the 1.5k or so spare seats on an unallocated basis to home fans. Far to accommodating to away fans as it is.

Looks like Foster is set to be sacked imminently. Warnock in for Argyles final 6 games…

Argyle are in deep relegation trouble and they hate Bristol City. Their players and fans will be 100% up for this. Any faffing around, any passengers in the team, any lethargy or tactical mistakes and we’ll get murdered.
On the other hand, they absolutely hate their manager. I’ve got many argyle supporting mates and they are not confident about this game whatsoever having not scored in their previous 4 home games.
If we make a bright start and take the lead it could become very toxic from the home fans as it did v Preston for them in their last home game.

After a ticket, based in Plymouth so can grab on the day. If anyone has a change of plan or ends up carrying a spare with them on the day let me know!

If TC had kicked on from last year.
You mentioned 12 goals so far as a possible benchmark. That sort of form puts him in good stead against those around him:
- Che Adam’s - 12 goals so far
- Lyndon Dykes - 5 goals so far
- Lawrence Shankland - 27 goals so far
- Kevin Nisbet - 5 goals so far
- Jacob Brown - 4 goals so far
Adam’s, Dykes, Nisbet play in the champ, Brown will likely be in the champ next season.
Shankland, despite his amazing form, is only just getting his chance, which suggests where Clarke sees the SPL. Shankland was in last time as Dykes was injured but is in for these next friendlies on his own merit.
So I still think that if TC was tearing it up / improved on last season, there’d be a legitimate conversation to be had about him being in. It would still be hard for him given all the reasons we’ve mentioned in previous comments, but not impossible. I still think Manningball has made it impossible for him and removed any conversation.
TC has also missed a few this season, but you could argue that a happy, well utilised, TC would have scored them and kicked on.
Arguably Ryan Hardie ahead of him at Argyle too. Apparently close to a senior call up for this squad. 12 goals, 5 assists this season for a struggling team

After watching City for almost 50 years I can’t believe how passive our fans are now . 20,000 people just sat there shaking their heads but saying nothing . We’re giving the Lansdowns and their useless Technical Director such an easy time it beggars belief !!
Bang on. I hadn’t ever really considered it until I watched Argyle on Saturday. A team who had arguably their best ever season in League One last year, over 100 points and back in the Championshup after 15 years away…
New manager only 8 games in and they’re already onto their owner and demanding he’s sacked. Goes to show exactly how passive we are as a fan base. If people truely wanted change they would demand it, I sometimes wonder is OTIB simply the minority because it never translates to Ashton Gate.

So when someone on another thread said “Warnock in charge for Plymouth” they actually meant “for Plymouth” not “against Plymouth” then!
That’s all the conversation was around me at the game
“Got to get Warnock in now, else we are gone”. He’d relish his first game being us
-
I watched Plymouth yesterday and my god they’re terrible. Genuinely if you thought watching us was bad. No goal at home in 4 now, chants all round of ‘Ian Foster your football is shit’ and ‘We want Foster out’ (at least the fans send a message rather than take it…)
So all in all, congrats to Argyle on a home win!

If anyone isn’t using their season ticket who is able to get a 1 or 2 at any stage please let me know. Happy to pay over or contribute to a charity of choice etc
Would love to be able to take my Dad to this one

On the bright side, that should ease the demand on Plymouth tickets amirite
Could be a relegation 6 pointer as this point

Demoralising, would go as far as saying we’ve got to beat Swansea on Sunday…
Consideing the couple fixtures to come after that, could quickly become 7 without a win
-
More of the same second half please and who knows we could nick this one

Why do I have a deluded hunch that we are going to win tonight

Ok so details have now been released, on sale from Thursday. If anyone can help here then I will be more grateful than you can imagine!

Just posting on the off chance someone can help me out here.
Im a Plymouth based City fan (Dad is from Clevedon but moved here with the Royal Navy) - I’m not a season ticket holder this year so ultimately I’m going to have zero chance of any tickets for the Argyle away game.
Is there anyone not planning on going to this one that could help me get 2-4 tickets? I’d love to be able to take my Dad (and hopefully two brothers) as he doesn’t always get chance to watch City much anymore.
If anyone can help I’m more than happy to pay over the odds, contribute to a a charity of choice etc. Obviously details not released just yet but thought I’d ask early.Thought it was worth an ask anyway, cheers fellow reds!

At what point do we start looking over our shoulder at the bottom 3 this season?

Sounds like tonight the biggest issue we had was scoring despite numerous good chances.
Goes to show again that we had to bring someone in last month and failed to do us. Will most likely cost us more than once between now and the end of the season.
Agree to an extent. But also we simply need to get this striker signing right, we’re clearly wanting to commit a bit of money to get someone in who’s going to be that main man for us.
And based on BT’s comments we likely have some options up our sleeve. No point paying over the odds in January especially when you consider our league position making it unlikely to be threatening either end of the table.
If we had sat in the play offs going into January then I’m quite sure we’d have done some more aggressive business. But really no need to panic and pay over the odds now. It’s sensible and strategic. We also don’t end up paying for a Diony, Rodri etc etc.

Hopefully we can hang on for penalties. I fancy us if it goes to a shoot out mainly because I reckon OLeary can save a couple
Mind you Matt Turner's penalty save record is ridiculous, about the only thing he's good at
Incredibly, Turner's saves meant that he has now stopped 11 of the 25 spot-kick efforts he has faced in his professional career, denying the opposition on 44 per cent of occasions from twelve yards

If it goes to extra-time may be worth giving OTC some minutes, keep Joe Williams fresh for the weekend

There is an option to make it permanent in the summer confirmed by his parent club
