This is great news. Thank you for posting (I don't do ****er).

But what on earth is that machine he's strapped into????

Also - if I've read it right - Proctor used to be at Oxford United!

Think it is essentially to remove sense of gravity to the lower half of his body? To Limit the stress during activity

  2. I wonder if someone like Lee Carsley May be in the frame? A name I did see lower in the list on skybet. I must say I have watched none of the England U21s but I do know he has had success including winning the Euros recently.

A quick search suggests he plays in quite a progressive style, almost Spanish like. See also Gordon at Newcastle said he’s the best man manager he’s ever seen.

We’ve gone for England staff in the past… we have quite an emphasis on academy and progression. Someone will know more about him? Any good or one to avoid?

As I said on Monday on another thread, Lampard wants the job and has made contact. I spoke to my mate again this morning and he has said that Frank will be interviewed, and he is very keen to come here. After the chat I had with my mate this am, who is very good friends with Frank, I would be very very surprised if he is not our next manager.

I don't agree with the sacking of Nige, quite frankly its embarrassing but dealing with the situation we're in, looking at who is out there, I'd go Eustace.

    • Played good football with Kidderminster, had some success and reached the playoffs (albeit much lower division)
    • Has experience at international level with Ireland. For some reason I like managers that get themselves out there and do this
    • Did well with Birmingham. Widely touted to finish bottom, he got them performing really well. All whilst dealing with off pitch nonsense which shows he can shut out the noise, focus on the football, connect with the players and get results. He might need that experience here if there is fallout from the sacking....

Worth noting we also have a Irish contingent of players who will have worked with him already. Potential for Curtis Fleming to remain in position for that consistency with the players I suppose as well?

He will also know Rob Dickie from spell at QPR.

I'd 100 million percent have preferred us to field a team of academy goalkeepers rather than signing free agents after Nige was refused funds in the summer.

What sort of bs is that? Waste more money on more crap players because the board ****** up in the summer when it was absolutely obvious to all of us that we needed 2-3 more bodies?

I back Pearson 100% on his stance with this.

Sums us up. Willing to undo all the hard work Nige had done installing a proper culture at the club.

Magically able to find some money to throw at out of contract, ageing players. Sounds familiar 🤦‍♂️

  6. My hunch is they want Eustace.

I mentioned it to a mate as soon as Rooney took over there, the Pearson interviews were all surrounded by a young head coach departing his role at a direct competitor. I think something was in the offing around then.

A chance at a decent long term appointment without compensation. Has worked with Dickie at QPR. Was assistant at Republic of Ireland last year too. Makes sense on many levels.

Only issue being Pearson 100% should not have been sacked and personally I’m gutted.
