We will regret it massively if we don’t win this game, they look so unfit no as well

He actually reminds me of Bolasie if I had to chose someone. Ungainly and raw but effective. Always looking to be positive.
Id put money on him getting a red card for an outrageous challenge at some point this season
Could be a real gem for us in a year or two

Our Twitter posted 21k tickets sold, is that overall or just home end? Only appears to be 2.5k tickets left on the site
21k + 3.5k away = 24.5k attendance?
The maths does adds up to leave the 2.5k remaining, but can’t see the attendance being that much?

Reminder that members can still purchase a ticket in certain areas of the ground for £15 for this one if anyone didn’t know, may help someone

Reckon the circular CITY could be the badge used?

Out of interest does anyone know if we are the only club in the entire football league not to announce our away kit yet?
Saving it for our big money striker signing tomorrow I heard

For me
O’Leary
Tanner Vyner Naismith Pring
James
TGH Knight
Sykes Bell
Cornick
I’d like to see what TGH has to offer to our midfield. From reviews he’s energetic, not afraid to shoot and can operate as a number 8 so beside Knight could offer us some real energy with James given them a licence.
I’m purely starting Bell over lack of other options and feel if Mehmeti was in any type of form he’d get the nod here. But Bell wasn’t too bad vs these lot in the cup last year…
A punt with Cornick through the middle, why not at this point… he looked better for it when he came on vs Hull.

Connolly missed the 2 best chances of the game.
Think Knights header was a golden chance

Keinan Davis at Villa the profile of striker I’d love. Bit raw in style, but is unplayable on his day, big unit but pacey and would spear head pretty well in our system. Did ok at Watford last year but just one of those ive always felt is capable of scoring a lot of goals given the service for the right team.
Downside - likely to be on decent wages and other sides would be keen.
I do actually like the no loan policy but a player like this would benefit us a lot IMO.

We clearly need a quality, proven striker, and that will require splashing out a substantial sum of money.
Somehow, I can't see that happening.
Agreed, sadly.

Really hope we are planning on bringing in a striker

If Wells in not injured and it's a tactical decision to leave him out any play Bell CF, that's nuts!
Based on the omission from the graphic when it was first posted it maybe that two were prepared and Nakhi was undergoing a late fitness test perhaps?

Really hope not as otherwise, we really will need to sign a striker before the end of the month
Frustrating that what looked like a deep and balanced squad has been taken apart within 2 weeks of the season starting
Certainly looks like we are going to need a couple additions!

Bell starts up top. Wells not in squad, another injury?

Also just remembered we even have this thread on this site, which is good to see

Hope the move to Bournemouth works out better for the lad than it did for Lloyd Kelly, be devastating for him if he’s still there in 4 years time.
In fairness to Lloyd Kelly he’s now captain of a Premier League side and being paid 30-40k a week wages. Didn’t work out too badly at all.
Though I agree AS ceiling is far far superior, he won’t be at Bournemouth for long IMO.

What happened to this?
gone from what looked like a really busy block last season to non existent (from what I could see) on Saturday?
Strange one, have the club blocked ticket sales in this block? I know their was conflict between existing ticket holders and those trying to move their last season.
I’ve noticed you can’t buy tickets for that area for any of the upcoming home games, it’s just greyed out and I can’t imagine it’s sold out.

While I agree about the cost, I had a steak and ale pie before kick off and it was lush mate. Best I've had for a while, last season I was disappointed with the pasties though.
I have to say, and I know trying to stock food for 20,000 plus people is a nightmare, the hot display cabinets were hardly rammed with 15 minutes to K.O.
Another problem would be restocking. If you had some not selling in one area it would be virtually impossible to move them to another with the concourse rammed at H.T.
As others have said, and it is annoying, running out is preferable to having stock unsold.Steak and ale pie was the highlight of my day genuinely best pie I’ve had at any ground
