My thoughts too. Kalas & Nagy won’t have their stock any higher than right now, and are on huge huge wages. Makes sense to try and move on.
Wells - won’t want to not be the main man, not least an unused sub.
Gonna be a really interesting week transfer wise
You have to question their ambition after a good Euros to even consider staying at City.
As much we love the club we are a struggling 2nd tier team with little to no chance of going anywhere this season.

You’d have to question in that case why NP decided to disclose this in his presser, other than to perhaps trigger a bidding war well before the transfer window shuts?
Make sense to advertise the fact to any interested parties if Nagy wants out.
I get the idea he’d prefer to be playing in European leagues but doubt those clubs are watching Bristol city post match interviews, but you never know.

Did Sam Bell even warm up, from the Dolman I didn’t notice him doing so? Only saw Kalas, Simpson and Wells at various times. And why sub Palmer, I thought other players were more obvious? Get Kalas on to shore up the game, or Wells to try to get another goal. Bell didn’t make the best sense for me.
Yeah he was warming up throughout the 2nd half along with Wells

What about the striker he left on the bench?
Wells looked frustrated warming up, especially as the game went on; we thought he was getting the nod & even Williams looked surprised when he was called back to get ready to come on.

Not really. Williams not fully fit. Nagy rumoured to be off.
What have you heard about Nagy?
He’d have been who I’d have brought on if we were trying to get better control of the midfield late into the game so there probably is some truth in the rumour wherever it might be

I thought Williams added to the panic when he came on, very rusty indeed.
Agreed, Williams seemed too rusty compared with the rest of the team.
We were weaker once Scott & Palmer went off.

We ran head first into adversity under his watch, but unfortunately we had no clue what to do when faced with it.

doesn't look any different too me

Quite smart of the Burnley owners to include the cash in the sale, add it to the sale proceeds & take it out the club using entrepreneurs tax relief. That wil have made the outgoing owners 12+ million in tax savings.
It doesn't mean the new owners have used the club's cash to buy more over the deal was structured this way to reduce the tax liability of the seller.

"Entertainment" probably best to avoid Ashton Gate then !!
I’m only going for the booing.

Given the financial strains this season you have to accept tickets will be full price. The club would be mad not to. They need the cash.
Tickets will sell out instantly not because of the football, but because we’re all bored and just want some entertainment.

Leave early occasionally when the team are playing shit and don't deserve to be clapped off.
The superfans will tut and moan but **** them its your time and your money do what you want.
Not a fan of leaving early purely for logistics but anyone who’s had season ticket for the past 10-15 years+ and hasn’t left early at least once should either receive a medal or counselling.

We have previous in Bristol for this sort of thing other cities as you say just get on with it, our stadium plans for Ashton Vale are a typical case in point oh! and don't get me started on the "new" arena that 10 years later is still nowhere to be seen.
The park and ride I was proposing was at PORTBURY, It wouldn't be ideal using the A369 but I suppose it could go over the Avonmouth bridge and use the Portway instead.
Noted - The proposed train station the article is about is on the Severn beach line - so it serves no purpose for match day but would help reduce commuter traffic.
It amazes me how this city doesn’t have a proper connected rail transport infrastructure.
Get that right and the pollution in the city would fall quickly. It seems so obvious but nothing happens. Even run the local trains more frequently would reduce traffic.
This station will be pointless if the train frequency it serves remains the same.

I have no idea how it costs £3.5m and YEARS of discussion when they could just borrow the platform ramp design platform from the harbourside railway and start tomorrow.
Would help ease the rush hour traffic on portway but this stop wouldn’t help any match day traffic as the line goes up into Clifton & is wrong side of river to get anywhere near Ashton Gate or Hotwells. -

As a key worker (I speak for myself not others.. but just for context) I think I'd rather have the elderly, disabled and people made unemployed by COVID prioritised. A lot of them have had all their social activities removed by the lock down and loneliness and depression etc can be a massive killer. Getting those people into the outdoors, around other people (safely distanced) and into an activity they can enjoy themselves in (well its city) would be my preference. Maybe I've been endangered more by having to work during this period, but losing my job and having no social contact would be worse for me. So I'd like those vulnerable folks prioritised first over myself.
Nice idea, but expect Bristol Sport to refund STH and sell tickets at double the POTD prices as part of a one off match day experience package.

You’d drop Alex Scott to accommodate Well & Martin? Before today maybe but after this after Scott is a starter for me. We’ll see if it sustainable as may fade after a run of games but he looks special.
Would have swapped Martin for Wells at about 75 mins today.
