Apparently 2 PL teams called for the league to be cancelled, I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say one is Villa.... the would sure be one of the relegated clubs or even Spurs perhaps if it meant same clubs going into Europe again.

Or people go to pub to meet friends because there is no football etc to go watch

It may take another season or two but you could slowly shift the season back, a few more midweek games each season and just shorten the season a bit each year

Sky have just confirmed that the speculated date is just a review date

The thing is the virus will still be around at the start of April, so if/when players/staff start getting it again from April 4th does the season just get pushed back again? Right decision to suspend, but a restart date announced now seems iffy.

Interesting idea presented by someone on Sky Sports News, football delayed until mid summer here, season resumed and concluded then off season and next season starts in November. This would mean when it comes around to the Qatar world cup our season would actually align with the World cup schedule.

This for me, even being at an age that's low risk I attend games with my dad who is in his 60's so it seems an unnecessary risk. Even if its not on red button another solution despite it not being live would be I have a wyscout account so can watch the game in full when it goes on there.

I'm gunna guess option a, would be nice if they at least offered you the amount of games to stream that you've bought tickets for so to say. IE you've bought 3 tickets for Sheff Wednesday at home, if played behind closed doors you then get credited for 3 games you can watch a stream

I would imagine bet refunded as a free bet if you've placed it online at least, that way bookies 'give' money back but will most likely end up keeping 90% of it through lost bets with it then placed again

Honestly don't see the Euros going ahead this summer, think they could be postponed to the 2021 off season

So hypothetical situation if the league does get delayed for a few weeks, anyone have any ideas on whether the start of the next season would be pushed back a bit?

So Man City vs Real Madrid in doubt because of their lockdown, Wolves were refused permission for their game to be postponed by UEFA lets see if they have the balls to say the same to Madrid, no reason their players couldn't be checked for the virus in a few days like Forest checked all their players/staff

So you get a stream for buying a ticket? So if more than 1 person from the same household have a ticket you pay twice, three times much for a stream if you've already bought your tickets? Seems fair.....

No idea of the legality but could they change it so burden of proof is on proving you've complied rather than being found to have broken? I'm sure clubs would act a hell of a lot quicker if there was a deadline for having to prove they've complied or the EFL can punish them based on what they accuse them of having done (ie exceeded FFP by x million over 3 years)
