Strangest part for me was Mark Wood has been carting bowlers around grounds for the last few months whether test match or whatever format yet we send Chris Jordan and Adil Rashid (3 off 1!) instead of him
Yay?
In other news James Foster has been appointed fielding coach for KKR in IPL, so Banton even if he doesn't get to play gets to work with McCullum and Foster when he's out there, great for him.
Average 1st innings score at the ground 249, pitch looks dead for batting and worse with a soft ball, 3 spin options in our team could work well. Need opening bowlers to keep a lid on for 10/15 overs
Assuming we're using this thread for ODI's as well....
Classic England, pick a massively promising young prospect who opens for his county and stick him at 6 ?
Thoughts? Smart fielding for me and Punter is just bitter because Hobart lost

Craig Overton one of three to be first recipients of pace bowling development contracts, however it gives ecb some control over game management through the summer
I like the fact he hasn't been thrown under the bus, Giles came out with a statement supporting him as such. Good point I saw on twitter footballers are allowed to get away with swearing at officials and get no punishment even when picked up on mics
Middle order doing good work throwing away Crawley & Sibley's good work
The size of the cracks that formed in the practice strip you'd have thought they'd have wanted a front line spinner when you already have 4 seamers
I think I'd have gone ballsy and dropped Denly and put Bess/Woakes in to bat at 3 just not to mess the order around and you keep your front line spinner
Yeah aware she's in it and her role, just waiting to see what she's like and what she does, atm has a similar feel to Rosamund Pike's character and could be secondary villain
