Wisden's CC team of the decade, can only assume they've been ironic in leaving Hildreth out (one person sticks up for him) as Wisden's own article shows he scored 957 more first class runs than anyone else in the last decade.

Waiting with popcorn for people kicking off about 007 being a woman, no problem for me as its completely separate from James Bond and looks like well handled.
Anyone remember the last time we had 2 openers with such unorthodox techniques? We seem to have had at least 1 correct player for quite a while (Cook, Strauss, Vaughan)
Add that apparently this sort of pitch is fine by ECB standards

Its the inconsistency though, look at Hampshire when they did us over, only 1 score over 200 at 226, from memory horrid wicket not punished, there were plenty last season that went unpunished.
What a load of f****** bullsh*t, because we're the only ones who prepare poor pitches? There were loads of occasions this season with low scores and poor pitches. More runs than in the first innings at Canterbury as well. Oh no a pitch that spins early... and then when we go to the sub continent and can't play spin the pundits say that we should get English pitches spinning!
