She said we should get Frank Lampard… She’s got a wide on for him

I said to my Mrs as soon as I heard the news, I might have a bet on us to go down now.

Did I say that? We picked up 3 in game injuries on Wednesday. Nobody, no matter how good a medical professional they are, can “prevent” that. If you think Rennie or anyone else can prevent Matt James getting a kick on the ankle, well, good luck with that.

Prevent it happening again? How do you propose anyone prevents players picking up in game injuries or acl’s..?

Not sure I want to hear from him if I’m honest, as I imagine the next time he pipes up is when he changes another manager. It will then be the usual bullshit about going to the next level. I’m sorry Steve, anyone who thought Dean Holden was that, clearly hasn’t got a scooby.

Cardiff City away match thread

And that’s it in a nutshell. Compare the money the previous two managers were allowed to fritter away, it’s chalk and cheese. Of course people will point to the players sold under LJ and he was only reinvesting that money, but Nige has had his best players sold and hardly seen a penny. Lansdown is hanging him out to dry. -

You weren’t supporting us when we reached the same stage of that competition under Jordan then? Or when we beat Liverpool away in the fa cup? -

Wouldn't mind betting there will be a few stories of arguments on the terraces at the swamp tomorrow. Seems to be a definite split in the fanbase over this, and saw one bloke who said he was returning now Jaily was gone, told he wasn't welcome..!!

Oh no, he’s still going. Don’t do drugs kids… Might be a refreshing change for him to manage players he wants in a squad he’s balanced and prove beyond any doubt he has the nous to take a team from nowhere to somewhere. He’d certainly get backing by both board and fans and that might sway him to do a job he’d actually enjoy for a while. We might just be a stepping stone in his journey back to the top flight but the longer you’re not in a role the easier it is to forget you. They got more chance with Beatrix Potter.

What about this cracker… If Wael was still the sole hand at the helm then an ex-Chelsea name like John Terry, Frank Lampard or even Graham Potter might actually have had some legs. Although in a job with a Saudi first division club Robbie Fowler has always wanted to manage in England and might well apply again. However, if that list of managers odds is representative of the quality of candidates we can expect there’s going to be a lot of crap football played at the Mem in the coming months!

I wonder if his post match interview the other night had anything to do with it..? Maybe Wally and Alf just got sick off the gob on him. Personally I'm gutted, a match made in heaven. Don't do it Cotts.

Ipswich Town home match thread

You need to strap in and grow a pair mate. I’m 54 and caught the back end of the glory days, and all of the demise. You either love this club or you don’t. Trust me, I wish I didn’t but I do. Thats why I’m going to have a shit few days until Saturday. Then I’m back in the saddle. I don’t think we’ll reach the premier league in my life time, but, **** it, I’m going to cheer us on with little hope until I curl my toes up.- 636 replies

I think anyone who thinks keeping CM would be a good idea, has obviously missed the fact he’s ended up at Dismaland.

Nigel Is In A Good Place! - Ipswich Pre-Match Interview

Respect is earned. Never had any for Jon. In a job he’s totally unsuitable for through nepotism. What I had for Steve has been slowly eroded over the last few years. H -

37.30 in… What an odious ****** he is https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0gkd5sj from their forum I’ve just listened to Steve Evans and I actually felt sad because of what has become of our club. He spoke well of us as a club and Barton and that scumbag, absolute scumbag resulted in calling him fat and weeble. I can’t wait till this arsehole is gone now, I genuinely feel sorry for Steve Evans and our club. If you are reading this our new owners, please please act and put a decent human being in charge of our team. Someone’s appearance should not and never be mentioned, if he said ginger, someone’s skin colour, he’d be questioned and probably even sacked but it’s ok, he’s fat. Evans said at the end, we are great fans, make a great atmosphere, I despise Barton.
