James Tavernier and penalties
glynriley replied to RoystonFoote'snephew's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
You’re probably right. I reckon we could have had 5 in the last 3 games. -

Come off it, he only cost £35M… He’s no Tommy Conway for sure. -
Alex Scott Article in the Evil

Bournemouth play Wolves and Burnley in the next 2 fixtures. They could probably do with winning both of those as the 3 after are Liverpool (cup), Man City and Newcastle. Reckon they’ll be after a new Guy by bonfire night… -
The Office (UK): Ipswich Town edition

You’re right. Allow me. Blokes a ***. -
It’s amazing they ever lose any game. Joeybag tells radio Bristol they were the better team every week. Have a look at the man in the mirror dick head. Hint, it’s not Joe Pasquale.

Sounds like you need to get the old bill involved.

And because nobody on here is as wealthy as SL, the forelock tuggers come out with inane comments like this. Thanks for having a go Steve, but after quarter of a century of flip flopping strategies and general underachievement, time to let someone else have a try.

That is basically it, his legacy at the club. 25 years. The third little pig built a decent house, but I wouldn't want him running the football club.

I agree. All the albums from the 70’s are class, the 80’s stuff not so much, but I do like The Works.

This is my favourite Queen track, love the album A Night at the Opera.

Surely Bob Taylor gets in ahead of Iain Baird…

Could get the Man Utd job at this rate

That may be so, but I’m 49 years deep and looking forward to my 50th year of watching City next year. You can always **** off if you don’t like it.

Never Joeys fault is it? What a contemptible human being.

Condolences on your loss. I know what you’re going through having lost my mum not long ago. But maybe don’t critique a game you followed on the internet.

Best not to pay attention to people who rarely attend.

I’m not so sure. Thought Cornick did well but for me, our full backs were more exposed with the changes. I’m no Terry Venables , but for my untrained eye, we surrendered the wide areas. Appreciate we all see things differently.
-
Fair enough, I respect your opinion mate. Needless to say, I don’t agree
-
Reminds me of Semenyo. Brought in too early to make an impact. Needs a few cameo appearances when we’re in control of the game. Not ready to be a game changer, yet.

I’m a massive Nige fan , but you have to say it as you see it. Wrong , wrong, wrong. Tanner looked like he was struggling a bit. TGH for Tanner would have been my only sub at 2-2. But we threw the baby out with the bath water. Bell and Sykes were playing ok and Nakhi was buzzing after a goal. Shocking.
-
Or whoever decides the subs. Bringing off Bell and Sykes is bad enough, but Yeboah when you’re chasing a result… awful.

Another good listen. We’re in good hands, hopefully for a good while yet.

Massengo - Signed for Burnley
glynriley replied to Major Isewater's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Given our financial position, if HNM staying here meant we couldn’t sign Knight, I’m glad he’s gone.
