  1. She wasn’t my Mother, no. My Mum has passed away. She was the Mother of 4 children though, and they have my sympathy tonight. As I said, I hope people have more respect when you are in a similar situation, but you don’t come across as the sort of person who deserves any respect.
  2. I don’t know if your own Mother is still alive, but I’d hope she is/was shown a bit more respect.
  3. I notice the advertisement boards are blacked out.
  4. Liverpool getting stuffed…?
  5. Don't talk to me about love...
  6. Why would we make reference to a Charlton Athletic player...?
  7. A face like a bulldog licking piss off a stinging nettle... Are there any other CEO's who behave like this in football...? Running to the fans after an away win? Can't imagine Richard Gould going banzai because we won away at Accrington... under a bit of pressure perhaps.
  8. Nice words from David Moyes at the end of this interview https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/62779934
  9. I watched his interview, from when he was appointed full time, back the other day. It’s a good reminder for some of our fans, as it was for me, that the project that Nige spoke about that day, is running along just as he had mapped out in his head.
  10. Is it a coincidence that our forward line looks unplayable since this lad came in? Great appointment by Nige if that’s the case.
  11. I rate James but I know many don’t. He’s probably the only player in the side without much pace, and I think that’s where the criticism comes in(Same with Martin) But the job he does anchoring miidfield and his range of passing gives us a different dimension than Massengo or Williams. All 3 will get their games alongside Scott at some point but a fit and firing James probably gets the nod for me.
  12. Can’t beat getting up the crack of dawn.
  13. Not like those seagulls to steal things is it...?!
  14. I don't think you need to be Sherlock Holmes to work that out...
  15. Nope. I mean Sykes. Was one occasion in the first half that Vyner bailed him out, because running back he looked like he was towing a caravan.
  16. Naismith and Sykes give me the shits defensively, but **** it. Onwards and upwards.
  17. I don't really, but it was the first game my dad took me to.
  18. A testimonial against Villa in the summer perhaps? Good luck Nathan. Wonder if the timing of this means we are offering Bamba a deal?
  19. I’d just hit my teens in 82. Never really appreciated what we had lost in terms of top flight football, it was just going to football with my dad. I’d seen the big boy’s of Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal etc.. But suddenly playing Aldershot, Chester and Stockport was no different to me. Me and my old man travelled the length and breadth of the country because I was in love with a football team. Dads football team. Glad to say all these years later, Dad, me and now my son are still watching, waiting and hoping for the next crack at the big league. But if we don’t make it, before I curl me toes up at least I’ve had hell of a ride.
  20. As opposed to Shithead or 82’ers?? You could take the piss about pipping us to the title in 1990 but continually cling on to 1982, like a tagnut clings to a hairy arse.
  21. So would you rather Cardiff had scored, just to see if we could hang on at the end? Call me old fashioned, but I’ll take the clean sheets.
  22. We missed clear chances also. Conway one on one first half, Dasilva second half. Every team is going to have chances during a game, we took more of ours than them and have kept consecutive clean sheets, which hopefully shows the defence is getting to grips with what’s required.
