Probably be £50 each, to make up for all the free beer they gave away last night. -
Scott Twine - Loan Confirmed - No option to buy

Being 4 points off might cut some ice if we were 7th, but there’s seven teams above us who are all closer to the top 6. Waste of time and money. We don’t learn, do we. -

The thing is, while we've been going through our period of austerity for the last 2 years, some on here (presume the one's who don't want SL to sell up) have been saying "nobody was moaning when we were signing players" Well, now people are urging caution. Of course we all love a new signing, and god knows we need a few, but that doesn't mean we want to see us have our pants pulled down and end up back in a financial mess. IF, and it's a big if, we spent £5M on this kid, it would smack of the 'board' ignoring the last couple of years, just to reinforce their faith in Manning. They can do that without getting mugged off. -

Couldn’t agree more. I get that JL & BT want to back their man, but if this is just a straight loan until the end of the season it seems an awful waste of money. And we all know where that gets us. -

Double that. 200k for the runner up, a cool half a million for the winner.

Guardiola Ball is NOT the Way

But the rhetoric from the board, was we didn’t need to recruit. The squad was good enough, the best for years according to Jon. NP was sacked because “this squad” was under performing. Liam should be getting more from THIS squad. Or have the Lansdowns ****** up again?- 251 replies

“The Bristol City board have told ITV News that one of the key reasons behind the club's decision to sack manager Nigel Pearson was that they want promotion to the Premier League.” Gavin Marshall “We all wanted Nigel to achieve our ambition to be promoted but, with our recent results, feel that now is the time to make a change to give the club the best possible chance of success.” Jon Lansdown. With one of the best squads we’ve had in years according to Jon. Not going great is it?

It’s not the first time. When LJ replaced Cotts, the same thing happened. Almost like the managers they get rid of cease to exist once they’ve left.
