Sadly, on the evidence of today's game does indeed look like a very poor signing. On from the 38th minute and did nothing for us at all.

FT 1-2. A better performance 2nd half with Morgan on, but a really poor goal to give away after getting level, our no.3 looked like she was running in treacle! Really this game and last week's against Brighton were two we had to not lose, and we have lost both so relegation is now highly likely. It was clear we needed to add 2 or 3 quality players in Jan and we have only bought in 1, and she didn't start today (don't count Evans who looks a poor signing).

HT 0-1. After having most of the possession for the first 10-12 mins, since the goal WH have been much the better side. Their keeper has not had a serious shot to save, nor have we even managed to win a corner since the 1st minute. As it stands can only see WH increasing their lead. Massive improvement needed 2nd half, if we are to get back into this game. No idea why Stratigakis hasn't started, or why Morgan has again been left out, as her pace is a great asset.

Agree with you on Bell. When he first came into the team he was an instinctive player, hitting 1st time shots & crosses. Now he seems to always want to take an extra touch and inevitably gets closed down. Frustrating as he gets into some great positions, but they come to nothing because of taking the extra touch, or making the wrong decision.

Mehmeti had good 1st half, almost created something a few times. At HT they bought on Williams and he completely nullified Mehmeti 2nd half. Bell sensibly came on for the tiring McCrorie, but, as has become the norm for him, got into some really good positions then made the wrong decisions and chances were lost. 0-0 a fair result. As others have said need Sykes back.

Have to say, I find it an underwhelming transfer, she is 31 and her best years are behind her. Was hoping for another signing of the calibre of Stratigakis. Still maybe Evans will hit the winner against her old club and leave egg on my face!

@shahanshahan have you seen this Lisa Evans play, is she any good? better than Morgan?

oh FFS, 5th minute of injury time and Brighton score again to win it 3-2. A draw would have been a fair result between 2 very evenly matched sides. A couple of quality signings would make all the difference, we now have one with Sarah.S, let's hope there is another in time to play against West Ham next week or we could be sunk without trace.

HT 1-0 BHA. What Jones was thinking even risking losing possession near to our box is beyond me, let alone when the pressing player is their most likely scorer. Simply dreadful. Overall a game of much endeavour by both sides, but precious little quality. Harrison does not seem fully fit to me, tbh has not ever since she came back from the early season injury.

Still 0-0, twice now Connolly has had the chance to put a good ball in from an attacking FK, but both her crosses have been woeful immediately inviting BHA to break. Nothing much in it overall.
