He could easily have collected a yellow for the challenge on Ings in the 1st half. Great to see the crunching tackles, but he needs to keep them clean. Thought Matty James played well too, calm and assured.

Weimann has not been a "Game Changer" for a long while now, good call to let him go. Would be great to see Nelson getting some game time, he is lightening quick.

Unlikely, if we don't get at least a couple of new quality players in to strengthen before the Jan window ends. No doubting the hard work and endeavour the current side have got, but (kinda like the men) need some extra quality badly, or else it will be a quick return to the championship and a great opportunity to consolidate as a WSL side missed.

If LM really thinks that, it's a major worry. Yes they went more direct, but instantly seemed energized by the changes and we become very much 2nd best, after largely being in control 1st half. LMs failure to react with subs for us to counter their changes, cost us the game.

Can't see that at all. Do think LM needs to carry the can for today's result after failing to react to the changes PNE made at HT. They were well on top from the restart and I'd say it was obvious we needed to make changes way before the clanger that gave them their first goal, he seemed to have no idea on how to change it, so did nothing until it was too late.

Agree, at least Mehmeti got involved in the game, even if some of his play was poor. Bell was just not in the game, although not helped by Tanner's negative play.

PNE has been the better side since the start of the 2nd half, and we were crying out for changes to counter them. LM clueless it seems.

I would say so, LM didn't react to the changes PNE made at HT, too reluctant to make changes to get back into the game.
