  1. Haha, mixture of anger and confusion. Looks happier now...?
  2. Yep, this was the standard Facebook response from Gasheads at the time. I bet they wish he’d pissed off to Oxford for free now ?
  3. Matty Taylor again. 2 years on and they’re still crying about it. Brilliant ? Yes...yes thats right, you paranoid belters. SL really cares that much about your hilarious little club that it would bother him greatly if you got to the final of a cup competition that’s become worthless. Whilst we’re at it, why don’t we send Famara, Josh Brownhill, O Dowda and Lloyd Kelly to Southend as theyre playing the Sags on Saturday?
  4. They’ve got some some nerve banging on and on about their ‘amazing’ support, supposedly turning up in numbers week after week, “we deserve better cuz of our crowds” blah blah blah.. That is shocking. Where have they all gone...the supporters who claim they never turn their back their club? ? Fickle bunch.
  5. Tomlin did a lot to help us stay up after arriving on loan in our first season back in the Championship. Had we gone down with them getting promoted from L2 they would’ve had their cup final back. So yeah, it’ll be ”ssshhhhhheeeet ed”
  6. Glad to see it still really hurts them that their star player couldn’t wait to come and play for us. Must make them doubly gutted that he’s doing well and that we can see there’s much more to his game than scoring goals. They’ve never replaced him and after jizzing in their pants telling everyone they were coming for us, they’re now heading in the opposite direction whilst we and Matty Taylor enjoy Championship football. £15k a week?? ? Clowns.
  7. Fair play if they do boycott. It’s probably the one time I wouldn’t take the piss out of the Gas for a low turnout.
  8. I think he did. Their game at Derby was a few days before playing us in the JPT (or whatever it was called at the time?). We won 2-0. Obviously it goes without saying that had the Derby FA Cup match been at the Mem instead of Pride Park the Gas would’ve found some way to get it called off with a game against us coming up.
  9. The early rounds of this competition have always been poorly attended Eddie, even before the introduction of under 21 teams. If there was a final where hardly anyone showed up that would send a message to the FA. If Rovers do get to the final and their fans want to go then fair enough, that’s up to them, but they can’t then complain if they find themselves playing our youngsters competitively in a few years time.
  10. If I remember correctly they won away at Fulham about 10 years ago in the FA Cup. It was on a Sunday, they were spanking their monkeys for weeks.
  11. Sunderland and Pompey are on an upward trajectory. Their fans may feel that they won’t be competing in the EFL Trophy for a very long time after this season (unless their own under 21s end up in it). Rovers on the other hand will probably participate in this competition that has been ruined by the FA for many years to come. I would actually have a great deal of respect for their fans IF they boycotted the final, especially as trips to Wembley are not a yearly occurrence. To do so however would take principles and a backbone. So with that in mind and knowing Gasheads as we do, I expect they’ll not only take 35-40k but will also boast about it.
  12. Aww, isn’t that a cute story... Funny isn’t it how more BRISTOLIANS choose to support City and always have done? even before SLs ‘Billions’ and a redeveloped AG. Its almost as if the Gas aren’t anywhere near as special as they think they are....
  13. Yes, that’s right....they really got one over on us didn’t they? ? Wally seems quite upbeat in that post considering they went crying to the FA about the whole thing. He was worth every penny just to watch them all shit their pants in rage. Decent player for us, well liked by the fans and he’s never been replaced by the slags. I think it’s pretty obvious who got the last laugh.
  14. Saying they were going to wave fivers at Morecombe fans, 6th richest club in the country, using Ashton Gate as a training ground ? Yeah, I remember...
  15. Yawn 82 happened, we are still here. Same name, same home, same colours and 118 consecutive seasons of League football. Wonder how long their silent, bored foreign owners will hang around for?
  16. He’d rather have terraces in a Rugby ground they stole in the 90s than a 27,000 Premiership ready stadium that’s been our home for over a century? He’s obviously a moron. As for “loyal players that care about the club” ? Even leaving the Matty Taylor situation to one side (hilarious as it was) any half decent players they’ve had in the last couple of years have pissed off at the first opportunity. Another opted to play in Non League instead of the Gas. I’m sure that Payne bloke they’ve got up front has given them abuse a couple of times this season. Why do they insist on giving us this ammunition all the time? ?
  17. They’ve only had it back a couple of years. I think they’re punching above their weight.... (insert horse gag here)
  18. The Gas tried to get their own back the summer they dropped into the Conference. In a desperate attempt to get their place in the League back they appealed to the FA for Wycombe to be fined and have points deducted over a supposedly dodgy signing they’d made years before. Given the Chairboys perilous financial position at the time, had Rovers been successful God knows what would’ve happened to Wycombe? Fortunately the FA laughed at Rovers, told them to **** off and to enjoy Braintree and Dartford away.
  19. Hahahahahahaha!! Losing to Wycombe whilst we win away at Forest. Back in the relegation zone where they belong and less than 7500 slags at the Mem this afternoon. Happy Saturday everyone!
  20. Isn’t that the guy who they said would definitely be hounded out of the club within 12 months? Or even playing back in League 1 with us as we were definitely getting relegated that season? The same player who is well liked by City fans and who has been given an extension to his contract this week? The same player who’s superb pass put Korey Smith in position to score ‘that’ goal on one of the best nights I’ve ever had supporting City? They can’t have him.
  21. If I remember correctly, Rovers had appealed for help from fans to help get the pitch playable in previous matches over that period. Didn’t seem so eager for that Stockport match. Whether the club could’ve done something about it or not there’s Gasheads I know who not only think they had the game called off on purpose...they’re bizarrely proud of it. ....those same Gasheads think Wycombe are cheats. #Gaslogic
