  1. They’ve only had it back a couple of years. I think they’re punching above their weight.... (insert horse gag here)
  2. The Gas tried to get their own back the summer they dropped into the Conference. In a desperate attempt to get their place in the League back they appealed to the FA for Wycombe to be fined and have points deducted over a supposedly dodgy signing they’d made years before. Given the Chairboys perilous financial position at the time, had Rovers been successful God knows what would’ve happened to Wycombe? Fortunately the FA laughed at Rovers, told them to **** off and to enjoy Braintree and Dartford away.
  3. Hahahahahahaha!! Losing to Wycombe whilst we win away at Forest. Back in the relegation zone where they belong and less than 7500 slags at the Mem this afternoon. Happy Saturday everyone!
  4. Isn’t that the guy who they said would definitely be hounded out of the club within 12 months? Or even playing back in League 1 with us as we were definitely getting relegated that season? The same player who is well liked by City fans and who has been given an extension to his contract this week? The same player who’s superb pass put Korey Smith in position to score ‘that’ goal on one of the best nights I’ve ever had supporting City? They can’t have him.
  5. If I remember correctly, Rovers had appealed for help from fans to help get the pitch playable in previous matches over that period. Didn’t seem so eager for that Stockport match. Whether the club could’ve done something about it or not there’s Gasheads I know who not only think they had the game called off on purpose...they’re bizarrely proud of it. ....those same Gasheads think Wycombe are cheats. #Gaslogic
  6. We’re guilty of taking similar numbers up North but usually for midweek or Friday night matches. I don’t understand why the Gas only took 410 yesterday, especially as their form has taken an upturn? In December they took 1600 to Sunderland and according to loads of them it had NOTHING to do with wanting to see the Stadium of Light. It was because they travel the land in huge numbers and keep tiny clubs in business each season with the money generated by their massive away support. ? There must have been a bike ride somewhere yesterday I guess? You know how distracted they get by bike rides...?
  7. Fans celebrate a goal in the away end = ‘SHITHEADS’ #Gaslogic
  8. Yes, it’s the only ‘end’ in a UK football ground that stretches around the entire pitch.
  9. Weren't they playing Port Vale at the Mem when a wayward shot nearly brought down part of their 'stadium'?
  10. Oh I don’t know, he wasn’t called Dopey for nothing.
  11. He's Pompey through and through. Unless he was lying when signed up on here and was just too embarrassed to admit he was a Sag, surely not?
  12. I don’t think we ever held that record? We took 42k in 2015 but prior to that I believe Southampton had taken something like 50k. You may be thinking of the final against Stoke in 2000 where I think the attendance was higher than the FA Cup final that season (although I could be wrong). We have won it more times than any other club which isn’t bad when you consider that we’ve been unable to compete in the competition for 11 seasons since 2000 and 5 seasons in the 90s.
  13. Think you’ll find Pompey with their much larger fan base and supporters who actually attend matches would be more appealing to the Organisers.
  14. Would’ve had more respect for them if the number was zero. Bet there’s plenty of Gasheads this morning trying to figure out a way they can brag on Facebook about having a ‘massive’ following at Wembley without either looking like hypocrites or turkeys voting for Christmas.
  15. Then he said “ow did them lot down the road get on then? Hehe...oh shit they won, ok I’ll wait till they get beaten” He’s now a Gas legend.
  16. That’s strange, leading up to this game some were predicting close to a full house and even asking why home fans couldn’t be given the away terrace to accommodate the thousands of returning Sagheads. 3 straight wins, bank holiday and less than 9k. They’ve outgrown the Mem and no mistake ?
  17. I would like to leave 2018 with a random Saghead spouting utter bullshit for other Sagheads to lap up. Happy new year.
  18. My personal favourite from 2018 was when the ‘6th richest club in Britain’ opened this beauty. Not far behind in 2nd place is when Barnet beat them in their FA Cup 1st round replay after the arrogant bastards were guessing who they were going to get in the 3rd round having seen off the Bees and then Stockport. Sorry Saggies, you won’t get your Cup Final against City THIS season I’m afraid.
  19. The “pathetic tiny club” that dumped them out of the FA Cup (see SimonR’s post on this page). The same team that beat them to the Conference title. Funny thing is, right above that comment slating Barnets support someone reckoned that taking 500 up to London was “pretty impressive” ? You can see why Barnet fans were mocking Gasheads on their forum.
  20. Hey, you can’t say that. They don’t do that sort of thing, they’re the least arrogant, most likeable fans in the League apparently.
  21. Yes, yes...of course....it’s all Steve Lansdowns fault. Idiots As for filling stadiums, if they actually filled their tiny ground once in a while the AlQs might be more prepared to stump up the cash to get it sorted, even if It was just increasing the capacity of the Mem. Home crowds below 7000 in League 1 wouldn’t make me bust a gut to get a 20k+ stadium anytime soon if I was in charge of the finances. They are no better than the “tiny, rubbish clubs” this arrogant Sag talks about.
  22. Rovers - despicable tinpot pub side with no fans. Would be ashamed and embarrassed to support that shower of sh*t.
