  1. Great finish. Better on replay.
  2. Too late I think. We'd be in a more f'd up position than if we pull the plug now. You know, players go OOC and fixed up elsewhere, some of whom we might be better keeping, TC gone (sadly inevitable itable now I think), several new LM signings turning us in to a hybrid/disjointed team (more so than now with playing Knight out of position, and a single striker not reallysuited to the role). We've managed this season incompetently: let's not do this next season.
  3. As the Gas are about as significant as a spot of mud under a rock sitting at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, I think I'm now okay with this sort of thing. And in my early supporting days - where we dropped through the leagues (matching my form year at senior school for the first four years) - one of the chants was 'Bristol' clap clap clap 'Bristol' clap clap clap.
  4. Maybe he was at the end of his tether because the people above him were acting in an unprofessional manner, and against the football club's best interests? That the Lansdown's don't want him back (seems a reasonable assumption) is more of a badge of honour than a slight on the man.
  5. "I didn't quite understand what the coach wanted. Then I realised he was a left hand drive, and it all sorta clicked into place."
  6. Shocking treatment. And that shows why they aren't suitable custodians of our club. And an example of why NP is held in high regard by many.
  7. Wait, what? Are you accusing LM of writing your posts?
  8. Sounds a bit stupid, but it might depend on what it is. Continual injections aren't a good way to manage injuries in a sportsman, if that's what he means.
  9. That would be the year they hold off selling them until end of season. The dirt cheap children's & family prices might suffer most. Otherwise just be prepared for 30%+ increase for 17% fewer games.
  10. You'd need to call it a mandatory 300% Premier League bonus to get it past the PFA.
  11. Joy of promotion and 3 months euphoria. Then 9 months of meltdown on here. What more could we want?
  12. No, that's Tom Sutton - @NcnsBcfc 's lad.
  13. You sir, have the patience of an Ian Gay.
  14. Possible coaching job in the offing?
  15. I'm a bit unsure why he thinks they don't need coaching in the final third.
  16. Fair play to Andy Howard's post match questions.
  17. Hm. It's quite muddy around there. I hope nobody got their trainers too dirtied. Would this sort of thing find a home in SAGA magazine? Maybe in the 'hobbies and crafts' section? (PS For the avoidance of doubt, I don't actually find this anything more than pathetic.)
  18. TBF he could be an innocent fan. Unless @Flagon knows for a fact that he is OG hoolie, then I'll refrain from commenting, other than to say I probably don't look too dissimilar. Minus the head wound and about 10 years of course.
  19. I'm not sure off the cuff public speaking is up Jon's Street. Or should that be 'up his jetty?' It was a bit of a car crash when NP was dispatched. I wonder what he's like at senior reds? I'm sure @headhunter could remind us.
  20. The interim plan seems to be to let Jon run the club, ahem. But I still agree the long term plan is to sell. Problem is SL wants to get his money back (overvaluing the club massively). As well as taking that hit, the new owner would also need to be okay with losing £15M+ annually. Them gullible Bristol City supporting billionaires don't grow on trees.
  21. At least one person thinks the game shouldn't have been played https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68461967
  22. JD was the VFM signing - if ever there was one - from Chelsea. Solid defender, good technical control, and if he could cross a decent ball in then he'd have been worth keeping if we could afford his wage demands. KP45 never fit in a NP team. Would be the type of player to suit LM though.
  23. He does every time he's on and completely shows up one member of the pod. You know, the one who caused the host to f-bomb today.
  24. This is more far fetched than the 13 yo Sleepy1968's fever dream involving Linda Lusardi and a bar of soap.
  25. Eddie Edwards was class. Seriously. Balls of Steel that man. What he did was amazing, especially given the lack of backing. He certainly maximised his talent.
