  1. I'm still annoyed by it. It felt like we went easy on them, possibly because it would have kicked off if they went down.
  2. Sky sports website, youtube/City website for highlights. I don't think too many people rely on the EFL highlights programme anymore. I used to love the old ITV highlight show with that Gabriel chap back in the day.
  3. Following up own post. It's £15 for parking in the Raynes Road Scout car park, not £20.
  4. (Sorry, I think my first reply disappeared from the editor and didnt get posted. This post may be slightly different.) No anti-Manning agenda from me. He's not to blame for what went on here, and I hope he does extremely well. I mean, if he does, we do, so I've no idea why people wouldn't be behind him. Anyway, merry Xmas @Bar BS3, and to all of otib.
  5. No. He signed a contract with a buyout clause, so he's obviously entitled to move. But if your manager ups sticks in the middle of season, it's going to destabilise your club, at least in the short term. So a 'sorry I've upset things a bit' acknowledgement wouldn't go amiss.
  6. He should probably be apologising to the Oxford fans rather than NP.
  7. Yes, best supported. Not fifth in quality. There are various indexes around, and they'll usually quote the average and range for the division. This one https://www.globalfootballrankings.com/ is a bit out of date, but you get the idea. What I like is to see how low they rate EFL One.
  8. You might find out if your season card/digital ticket doesn't work v Millwall.
  9. I was going to mention that - it's £20 isn't it? They have a QR code displayed on the gate, which I guess leads to a website. I s'pose you aren't aiming to arrive too early, because there would be a spaces around if you did. I don't know if anyone has experience of parking outside the LA park and ride gates, but there might be space there, and about a 2k (around the metro line) walk to the ground - or 1k if you went the more direct route to the Ashton Road bridge.
  10. Well, they should have mentioned him and his staff, and apologised for the cack-handed way the change was handled and the idiotic things that were said. That's not going to upset anyone. Of course, they should have already apologised to the man in person for their ridiculous remarks and basic ingratitude.
  11. Steve needs to go to Specsavers to get his glasses adjusted - that left arm is not fitting properly.
  12. Time for a diony-kent promotion saving double swoop in Jan?
  13. I think it was in response to the negligible booing he got when he feigned injury (my words, it might have been genuine ) earlier in the half. He seemed a bit upset at the time that no-one was treating it seriously.
  14. I too think they've dialed it back a bit. But this may be due to the players understanding what he wants them doing a bit better, and him understanding what they can do.It's a good sign.
  15. We could be 10 points clear at the top of the Prem and these people will still be moaning.
  16. I'm sure that would have made a difference. Most people were just bemused about what it was for. Jesus.
  17. All it depends on is who owns them. And what additional revenue they can generate. Its not a local game for local people anymore.
  18. If the file is as big as fevs, and you intend archiving them, you can run it through vlc to down convert the file to save space. This coming from someone whose first hard drive was 20-30 Meg.
  19. They had a couple of more really good chances to put the game to bed. Just hoping they bury a few more in the second half. I just don't see brum being able to defend any better. C'mon.
  20. I've given up on that. When Wells is fit to start we might see him in a two with Conway, but it doesn't look on for a Cornick + 1 pairing. File that under 'we'll never know'.
  21. King Midas in Reverse, The Hollies
  22. He's got a good football brain, takes up good positions, wins his fair share in the air, has decent movement. Let's himself down a bit at the critical moment. I'm still hopeful.
  23. I agree he needs competition for his place, which he cleary isn't getting. We might be able to get a decent experienced keeper in Jan if they're coming to the end of a contract that wont be renewed.
  24. This might have been answered by now - but I'm miles behind on the thread. You are of course right, but I'd guess it's much harder mentally to do this under sustained pressure. Once we're able to do that, I'd say things would be looking up.
