We give the ball away to much for me to even think we have 'sustained attacks'. And that sounds like no attack at all really as we rarely threaten the opposition goal. We still look better when we are allowed (and are playing well enough) to counter.

Max got Star man in The Football League Paper. Their general player rating as usual show there was no reporter at the game (Roberts got a 7 for example). But they did at least manage to get the match rating right at one star.

When you're that awful in the first half (First 5-10 mins aside), surely you're happy not to get battered in the second half. However badly you think LM set up the team, there were some poor performers today. That's on them.

Agreed. At times like that you probably need a scrupulous experienced agent looking out for you. I guess that personal ambition could get in the way of accepting sound professional advice anyway.

Once he's under contract he's going nowhere. And Its clear from his early statements that he'd been given the whole nine yards on 'underperforming', which obs we weren’t. The only thing that could have conceivably saved him was if he confided in someone he knew who could put him right about the misinformation he was fed before he took the job..
