  1. I think it's set up that way as they have to charge away fans comparative prices - the comparative stand is obviously the South Stand. And isn't it the case that there are no POTD South Stand tickets available this season, making the POTD pricing mute? Sometimes I actually think they know exactly what they're doing ...
  2. Maybe they'd just scan the child's ticket and click the turnstile over if this happened?
  3. Well, he's been here for '30 years', so he deserves it. Doesn't he? Doesn't he?
  4. I think adult ST'S make up a minority of total ST sales, so this would skew the percentage increase by customer toward the higher end of the scale.
  5. Good call. I'm thinking 'Sapphire & Steel'. Which must mean BT is Joanna Lumley playing Sapphire.
  6. Might have to tune in for the second half. Bolton mullering Oxford is getting boring.
  7. My first reaction was to think that we'd forgotten to put the video up in August, and that doing it now was a bit weird. But by God, that would be better than the reality. Strange Days have found us.
  8. That was when I finally realised Steve Lansdown was not a benevolent dictator.
  9. He absolutely should be. Given their firesale and lack of funds, what he's achieved is spectacular. It's about the whole organisation though, so I'm not sure he'd be able to replicate the relative success here in our stellar set up.
  10. Respectfully, I'd sugg est two of them aren't really learning.
  11. https://theathletic.com/3358976/2022/06/12/premier-league-fixtures-computer/ If anyone is interested.
  12. You could whack it on at 2x speed. It might make more sense.
  13. Going on the rest of the interview I was half expecting him to name the main target and what we were prepared to bid.
  14. He's doing it to paint himself in a good light. I can't see anyone at the club calling him out on it, but agree it's very unprofessional.
  15. How completely obvious is it to say "in among the top end, at least challenging for a play off place." Even if it's not going to happen. I guess he must have been sat down - he certainly wasn't thinking on his feet there.
  16. SL's boy (JL) won't be sacking his boy (BT), and his boy (LM) is safe for now.
  17. Robin Day would've pounced on that. Complete let off.
  18. It's called revisionism. I don't think the bloke changes anyone's mind about him. "30 years I've been here." Quite.
  19. Ha. This is what I just typed. Minus the *******. I used all my swearing up yesterday. Unfortunately no-one complained.
  20. Thanks Dr - I can now go to my grave knowing 'shoe-in' is not actually a thing.
  21. But they had no idea what they were doing. You shouldn't be leaving two up when defending a last minute set piece. What the hell is Pat Mountain playing at?
  22. He's played much better than today. But what if he was deployed alongside TC, and Knight reverted to midfield? Then we'd prolly need to tinker a bit and start Sykes yadda yadda yadda, but is it an impossible ask to play players in positions that utilise then properly?
  23. I voted 'back', because I want to see how he manages us to the end of the season. If he shows no genuine improvement then we can let him go then.
  24. Ah, 6 forwards. The antic (as the esteemed Ian Gay might say) of the damned.
