  1. That must be down to your internet provider or VPN provider then because robinsTV was fine for me. What VPN service are you using?
  2. Its bad enough with a picture to go alongside it. I doubt you had much idea where the ball was for 90% of the game.
  3. There will just be a slightly longer rant on the Forever Bristol City Podcast. Got to pity @headhunter.
  4. He was sentenced to 5 years at Warwick Crown Court in 2019, so I doubt it. The way these things work he's probably out by now. https://www.racingpost.com/news/racing-conman-jailed-for-over-five-years-after-fleecing-punters-out-of-200-000/375158
  5. Happy birthday to us. I only wish Kachina Racing could join us for the celebration. Don't suppose he's allowed the use of IT where he is though ...
  6. It's more funny than embarrassing. Whilst it remains a bit of a longshot they do have an outside chance of making the playoffs, but it isn't a serious proposition unless they hit form soon and win 5 or 6 on the trot. It's more likely for them than us, but not really likley for them. As for City. Well, we've finally managed to get all the players kicking in the same direction. So things are looking up. I don't think we'll be in danger of a relegation dog fight this season. If Derby and Reading hadn't had points deductions I would be less confident though. We'll maintain at least a lower mid table position.
  7. You're right, he was massive. For some reason crosses were not much of a problem for him
  8. Sorry to hyjack the thread, but I remember a finish international joining at roughly the same time - Perti Jantunan. He didn't stay long either.
  9. The Fruit Market (does it need to change name? Insert politically incorrect joke.) The Fruit Bowl. The Banana Skin Stadium. The Sour Grapes Arena
  10. We looked decent when their three best players weren't involved Saturday, didn't we. Is it too much to ask that Harry Wilson and Tom Cairney pick up injuries to keep them out for Saturday as well?
  11. Isn't sponsorship/advertising of tobacco products banned? Certainly for sporting events anyway.
  12. I would add "and can he put it through the wash first. ta."
  13. quid pro quo. Bit of land in Horfield we can let the Welshies have. It won't be as high a quality of course ...
  14. Yep. They take away the funding for community workers and then wonder why things like this get worse.
  15. What's the over/under on how long it takes for him to properly upset Big Nige? Or maybe he won't ...
  16. I hate negative chants and would rather these people just cheered our players a bit more and ignored Bryan and Reid. But really it's up to them how they want to express themselves. Me, I just lost the plot with the ref when he didn't blow up for our head injury until we won the ball, and again when he blew up for theirs straight away. The words cucking and funt might have issued forth from the middle of the Dolman. I bore no anamosity toward the ref, I consider that part of the game - others won't. I guess football affects different people in different ways, and I imagine at least some of the boo boys do respect Joe and Bobby for what they did at City. And, yes, @Carey 6, Cunningham can just get ******.
  17. Just to correct myself, I have seen the highlights and I don't think the keeper touched the ball - it was just a heavy touch by Conway.
  18. Hear, hear. That's the first time I've seen Comway play, and I'm looking forward to seeing him get more minutes. If OP cares to look, of the two good chances Conway had, the goalie has a touch on the first as he was going past. The second chance probably should have been put away or at least aimed to the side of the keeper. I've seen worse misses from Wells, Martin, Weinman. In fact Martin 'missed' a chance when through yesterday when he hit at at the keeper. These things happen.
  19. It was on his wrong foot but he had a lot of time to pick a spot anywhere in a clear third of the goal net. Not keeping the ball low is criminal.
  20. In case anyone else was buying a last minute ticket today (fools), mine took nearly 4 hours to arrive by email. Er, at least I got it right? Will I regret going more than I would have regretted not going? Probably For those on the hesgoal stream, I'm the one in the Dolman.
  21. So I decided to bite the bullet and go. Ticket added to my account, but nothing emailed. Never had a problem before (ticket emails are instant or take a minute or two), and no it is not in the junk mail folder. That was nearly an hour ago. I'll give it a couple of hours before I panic. Has anyone else had any issues today? (Unlikely I know, 'cus no-one on here is going )
