  1. Been on the pitch with Williams, Ronaldo, Suarez, Cavani. Let’s hope he’s picked some of the (good) points up!
  2. So ridiculously and transparently self serving.
  3. You missed standing marginally in an offside position than discreetly shoving Vyner as he jumped .
  4. Don’t think the intent was there, unlike Tanner’s, but none the less dangerous and probably a red.
  5. Yes, realise it was partly forced but it also worked well as a horse for courses option
  6. Never heard of this song, never think about it at AG
  7. Despite our up and down form, it could be worse. So many HMHB ones to choose from ?
  8. Any thoughts on the likelihood of a West Country 100 side being added now Richard Gould has gone to the ECB? Certainly more chance than before IMO. And not that I’m (or he is ?) a fan of it, but if you can’t beat ‘em…..
  9. Absolutely not targeted at anyone. No really! ?
  10. I did but I just think he did get max value, regardless of the state of the market, who brought in the players and how much he paid for those he brought in.
  11. But tbf as Italian Dave said, he got top dollar. There was actually a seller’s market then mind
  12. And Norwich even got (and missed) a pen!
  13. Turned over from the dull Chelsea Man U game to watch Gary Johnson’s TUFC, bottom of the National League. 2-0 down at half time, fight back to 2-2 with a double from the Captain, who is then subbed (not happy unsurprisingly), his replacement makes it 3-2 with his first touch, Altrincham equalise, Torquay have a player sent off, Altrincham score again then in the 98th minute Torquay player scores his first ever goal (a 20 yard beauty) to get a point. Epic!
  14. Didn’t the second best team in Scotland go further in the Europa League last year than any English team, just to play Devil’s advocate? Still not a bad achievement. Agree Scottish league is dull though, when only 2 teams ever win it.
  15. Alternatively you take off underperforming players and we might play better? I realise there’s only a limited number of subs and it sounded like the whole team could’ve come off at half time.
  16. So leaving players on to spite them even though they deserve to come off - is that not cutting off your nose to spite your face? More to the point is it really good management? I’m on the fence with NP for the record. I can see the issues he has to deal with but his track record is middling at best, IMHO.
  17. Last 2 games have been slightly concerning in terms of teams appearing to have worked us out a bit.
  18. I must confess I was firmly in the pro VAR camp before the was introduced, but….. ….this is the thing that makes me wonder whether we should just live without it. The main point of watching football is the huge Adrenalin rush from seeing your team score. It must be so deflating to then 30 seconds later have it disallowed.
  19. Think I’d rather have an absence of parachute payments and a better distribution of income from the Prem overall, than VAR.
  20. I think Wells was looking for contact and hence the foul but had to move towards Aarons to get it, and ended up with his arm over his shoulder. So a foul by Wells imo.
  21. I used to work in a job centre and support your comments. The millions of scroungers myth is just that. Very very few choose to remain on benefits if they have to.
  22. Makes a change from Saints taking lots of youngsters from the area ( I think) before we properly got our house in order.
