Sure they can but not really the point
Absolutely - my comment was a play on words: ‘Mes que un club’.
The ‘look at us aren’t we great and not the same as every other team’ rubbish that Barcelona spout just gets on my goat.

The ladies team has been on a downward trend since becoming Bristol City ladies. I’m not saying Bristol Academy wouldn’t have suffered the same fate but it’s difficult to see what benefits being part of the Bristol Sport family has brought.
Interesting that Lansdown has ploughed money into Bristol rugby which has made a huge difference ( in terms of attracting a top coach and facilities in particular). It really feels like a missed opportunity to not make a decent investment into the women’s team, which would have resulted in a much higher profile for the club and Bristol Sport as a whole.

I hope he proves that he wasn’t good enough for the Championship.
If he tears it up it will be a bit hard for us to swallow.
Well unless we have a big fat sell on clause......

What an end: 2-2 with 95th minute equaliser!

I guess today was one of those bonus if we get anything matches. Sadly there was no bonus.

Couldn't care less if they were working class, lower middle, upper middle or whatever. There's plenty of shit working class bands out there with meaningless lyrics and no social awareness.

To be fair, I don’t think Idles are particularly counterculture. A bit of shouting doesn’t stop their music from being commercial and sloganeering.
But I don’t think they’ve ever claimed to be originators.
Or working class for that matter

Ha!
I still regret missing their set at Glastonbury in 2019 when I was there.
It was amazing (on the telly where I watched it!)

Bit woke.
Culturally misappropriating working class culture.
Too much stood outside a highrise trying to act like a gangsta
Still quite like them.Ah the old Sleaford Mods argument. Think they’re about as far from gangsta as you could get, personally.

Ends 1-1 then. Really need wins from somewhere. You know what they say about beating the teams around you.
When it’s tight a point ain’t bad. Especially when form has picked up and still have to play a few around us to play...

Would be cruel to say I was still worried as it looped towards goal.....!
So chuffed for him.

Top win. Matt Beard’s old team and relegation rivals West Ham next week?

No idea why they waited almost two weeks to play the QFs. Presumably not to clash with the 5 day final but surely they could have been a little more flexible.
Apparently because from October fans would’ve been allowed. Then things changed again....

Seeing as Bristol sport started charging the blood donation service too much to use the car park so they had to go elsewhere, i wouldn’t put it past them saying no this time.
I don’t know if we’ve been asked but I hope we’d agree.

Apologies if this has been raised already but is / could the club be doing something like this?

Yeah that's got the slight surf rock lilt to it.
As well as favourite tracks, what are our favourite lyrics, place references and random D list celebrity references?
From ‘Swerving the Checkatrade’:
i’d rather gaze upon your curves, instead of Ipswich Town reserves.

Indisputably the greatest band ever.

There's been around 84,000 reported cases and of those 2,858 have died, so quite deadly...
As a comparison I saw a figure earlier that influenza kills c10k p.a. in this country, on average.
