Have to say, quite rare for OTIB. A unanimity that police investigation a nonsense.
Agree BTW, since when was the truth an indictable issue eg. I wonder who complained! Should be done with wasting police time if anything.
I suspect an ill thought through and rather pathetic attempt by fans of a certain team, to try and deflect attention from their new owners

The url is somewhat clunky let's say, and seems to combine some post match reaction with this story but anyway...
What do we think? Worthy of prosecution- in the public interest, attempt at censorship? A complaint was made about a Holmesdale end banner basically and police are investigating.
Plus forgot to add, a sensible use of police resources?
Princes of the type you find in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states- well I'll choose my words carefully but it's fair to say they don't much care for criticism or being told 'no'.
Plus a statement by the HF.
So police in a democracy (where you have a right to protest) looking into a poster criticising a regime of a country where protesting gets you jailed or much worse.
Where to start….?

Hurrah. My brother in law will be chuffed! *
*assuming they have actually managed to nail that shyster Dale down
Edit - Hot off the press; brother in law pleased but says his spider sense is tingling…..!

What about Forest who had been chasing the game for ninety minutes ? Surely they would have less energy ?
I always think it’s harder defending than attacking, if playing a team that moves the ball well.

For me this is collective, no way Dasilva’s fault imho. I posted the start pic earlier, so as it evolves:
James too far away from the man who’s received the ball and travelling forward. Spence starts to make a run. Jay does not know whether to engage the man on the ball, track Spence, or what about Johnson, is Baker marking him or has he passed him on. The defensive line is crap, Kalas and Tanner deeper than the other 3 (JD, NB, RA). So you can start by blaming the collective 6. Massengo and Weimann fine of the rest of the midfield.
Spence’s run is purposeful and now at full tilt. Dasilva on the turn, still not sure whether Baker has Johnson, has passed him on, or is trying to play outside. The pass is perfectly weighted.
Spence is in full flight, Dasilva struggling. Baker’s line is now in front of Dasilva (he’s now marking Johnson), but also wrong side of the ball. He’ll pay for that 1 second later.
And now we see Dasilva beaten through a combination of things, Spence’s pace, the timing of the pass, a foul and it’s a penalty. Baker is stuffed….and brings him down.
So, imho, Dasilva part of a collective problem, and also how Forest found gaps between the lines (give them credit to).
That’s my view anyway.
Yup fair. All caused by or at least exacerbated by being knackered and having to defend most of the half, in part due to non-retention of the ball.

How is League 1 a certainty? 8 points above the drop last time I looked?

Wells’ shot second half was saved onto the post - don’t think he could’ve done much more really.

Shame the Police weren’t there - would’ve been much better than more people wanting to fight?

Was thinking about where we’d be so thanks for working it out! ‘If’, the longest word on the English language…..

Fantastic Like watching under 10s all chase the ball at the same time!

Always makes me smile when people question Simpson and Downing. How do they get the blame? Why not NP, or even Fleming while we’re at it? Are people sneaking into the HPC watch us train every day? I suspect it’s because of who appointed them, ignoring the fact that Nige has consistently says he rates them.
-
They might be United in name but they certainly aren’t united as a club at the mo…….
-
A big element of both being signed was cultural I think. Nige’s subtext: ‘Here are examples of what I want our midfielders to be, please copy.’ Not that James is too shabby as a player’ although King has been less effective.

Took in the Exeter game yesterday which included these 2. Both came off around an hour in, but Owura had a good first half in particular, looking direct and skilful. Sir Colin was lucky to only get a yellow quite early on and didn’t really affect the game (he played left back behind Owura). Sounded like it was a more entertaining game than at the Gate, sadly.

I suspect playing both is eventually the plan

His own players acting to restrain him!? That is appaling.

I felt she was rather inconsistent,, to say the least.....not great.
Seen better but for a first international and with added pressure from being the first woman, ok I thought. The Czech Wales ref was much worse IMO.

No, not my point at all. These teams shouldn’t be running round taking cheap shots at decent players. These games are a complete and utter waste of time.
Sure, I sympathise with this point, just saying that the Nations League makes better competitive games. Whether there should be a removal of the smaller teams from actual qualifying, or even a ‘pre-qualifying’ I don’t know.

Andorra, San Marino and similar standard countries should have their own separate tournament. You’ve got never has beens out there who just want to take cheap shots at players they’ve heard of.
Hence the Nations League I guess.

It’s PR shoot yourself in the foot. Incredibly wealthy club chooses to use a convicted paedophile to help win a case, against the very people who are the victims.
Just another reason to dislike this ownership - As if the sportwashing wasn’t enough.
