Yep, agree roundabout moves, see exchanges above.
Although, why the need for people living on Phoenix Way to detour, as it’s still two way traffic and a three entry/exit roundabout?
Pretty certain I was at that game. Was staying in London with relatives and went to the game with their neighbour’s son. Stood in the shed end when Spurs fans came at the other end - both sets of fans charging on to the pitch before police could react! Chelsea won 1-0! Interesting for a 14 year old!
The last time I can recall any sexist chanting at Ashton Gate was against Brighton, when the away fans were singing “one nil to the Nancy Boys”?
Along similar lines, no doubt some chanting on Sunday will be referred to as racist?
Guess I’m just a couple of years older than you and those League Cup Semi-finals are definitely some of the main highlights of 56 years watching City. Not giving up on a fourth, hopefully with a Wembley final!
I had a nice chat with a Lovely Welsh WPC and she showed me a picture of something hot and throbbing between her legs. She had just bought a new motorbike!
Totally agree with your first comment, although the usual answer is probably shelf live/hygiene/protection etc. With regard to getting “rid of a lot would be more profitable”, the answer is who for, retailer or packaging industry??
I worked in the packaging industry for over 40 years and have seen many changes during this time. I am very sceptical about the “green” motives of companies, as profit still comes before environment, I know as I’ve championed it! ??
The Aberfan chant was the one I just couldn’t comprehend, yet the majority of the East End appeared to be chanting it! Really sad indictment of society at the time. ?
