Pretty certain I was at that game. Was staying in London with relatives and went to the game with their neighbour’s son. Stood in the shed end when Spurs fans came at the other end - both sets of fans charging on to the pitch before police could react! Chelsea won 1-0! Interesting for a 14 year old!

You say the roundabout disappears, but the Quays Avenue/Phoenix Way roundabout looks the same to me, unless I’m missing something!

The last time I can recall any sexist chanting at Ashton Gate was against Brighton, when the away fans were singing “one nil to the Nancy Boys”? Along similar lines, no doubt some chanting on Sunday will be referred to as racist?

Totally agree with your first comment, although the usual answer is probably shelf live/hygiene/protection etc. With regard to getting “rid of a lot would be more profitable”, the answer is who for, retailer or packaging industry??

I worked in the packaging industry for over 40 years and have seen many changes during this time. I am very sceptical about the “green” motives of companies, as profit still comes before environment, I know as I’ve championed it! ??
