  1. I only listened to BBC Sounds too! The YNWA version was by Marcus Mumford and I think the “final” guest was Adam something, who was due to present the next Radio Bristol programme.
  2. Need to see it on official site to be true!? Especially when you’re a year out!
  3. Had your haircut on a Friday did you? Suppose you need to be of a certain age to understand!
  4. Tinnion recently spoke at the Senior Reds lunch and he basically said what you’ve quoted in your first paragraph! He did admit he uses his eye, whilst other analysis the statistics to produce short lists for Nige.
  5. Looked at it for the first time yesterday and thought that’s good, until I realised all was sold out, except signed photos! Something is seriously wrong, or they’re taking the pi$$, if a couple of signed photos are worth about the same as a coat!
  6. “Every breath you take”? I’ll be watching you………
  7. Tins indicated that Nige doesn’t see goalkeepers as a high priority, no big fees or wages!
  8. Tins also said we will only be recruiting players who we can improve to add value and, potentially, sell on, so this surely rules Bryan out?
  9. I think currently they’re just using available media to advertise season ticket sales, especially knowing it was last home game and a big crowd. For what it’s worth, I thought it was a poor decision and not well presented. They just needed to remind season tickets on sale and retain the time and score, for us who require reminding!
  10. Interesting debate, always appreciated Chesterfield doing it for us!
  11. Family are happy with this, close to where his wife lives.
  12. He’s still in a care home in Newport, where he’s being looked after due to Parkinson’s, also his memory is none too good. Not well enough to travel to games for the various AG8 celebrations, where he’s been represented by his children.
  13. Watched the end of the Millwall v Birmingham game, after City’s game finished and Esse was brought on as a substitute. He does look a talent in the making! Needs to fill out a bit, like Scott did during the last year!
  14. Well, it’s also a sports bar and I’ve sat there watched the action you’re referring to!
  15. Plenty do this, accident waiting to happen!
  16. Yep, agree regarding the Tudor Raj, hasn’t been good since before Covid, big change of staff. A few beers in the Horseshoe makes up for it though!
  17. Reckon it’s easier than the Albion as, apparently, a couple of WBA coaches were there for the cup game - missed seeing them as I was already in the Coopers!
  18. There’s just Keith, who walks around all day with his clowns outfit on and the daft tart with gas in her number plate!
  19. Steve Lansdown recently did a lengthy Q & A at the Senior Reds lunch and when asked, he agreed to provide the same at an away game as previous, with the stipulation that someone arranged it and provided him with date/s option.
  20. We might not have the opportunity of seeing him play for us again?
  21. My first game was versus Charlton Athletic and was also 0-0, just checked the date, which was 3rd May 1966! ?
  22. They’d never had gone up, if they didn’t get a couple of 90+ minute late goals against some team or other!
