I only listened to BBC Sounds too!
The YNWA version was by Marcus Mumford and I think the “final” guest was Adam something, who was due to present the next Radio Bristol programme.
Tinnion recently spoke at the Senior Reds lunch and he basically said what you’ve quoted in your first paragraph! He did admit he uses his eye, whilst other analysis the statistics to produce short lists for Nige.
Looked at it for the first time yesterday and thought that’s good, until I realised all was sold out, except signed photos!
Something is seriously wrong, or they’re taking the pi$$, if a couple of signed photos are worth about the same as a coat!
I think currently they’re just using available media to advertise season ticket sales, especially knowing it was last home game and a big crowd.
For what it’s worth, I thought it was a poor decision and not well presented. They just needed to remind season tickets on sale and retain the time and score, for us who require reminding!
He’s still in a care home in Newport, where he’s being looked after due to Parkinson’s, also his memory is none too good. Not well enough to travel to games for the various AG8 celebrations, where he’s been represented by his children.
Watched the end of the Millwall v Birmingham game, after City’s game finished and Esse was brought on as a substitute. He does look a talent in the making! Needs to fill out a bit, like Scott did during the last year!
Reckon it’s easier than the Albion as, apparently, a couple of WBA coaches were there for the cup game - missed seeing them as I was already in the Coopers!
Steve Lansdown recently did a lengthy Q & A at the Senior Reds lunch and when asked, he agreed to provide the same at an away game as previous, with the stipulation that someone arranged it and provided him with date/s option.
