  1. I’m sure there will be a review by the club on how this was allowed to happen and also what plan/s should be in place to stop it repeating.
  2. I noticed the netting was missing, which was hard to believe and even worse if the Swansea fans removed it, definitely poor security. Would be interesting to hear the view of Dave Storr!
  3. The attendance was announced but, as I was sat in the Dolman, don’t have clue what was said!
  4. No you didn’t imagine it and it was the halftime highlight!?
  5. To be honest most of the so called “humour” on here isn’t funny, but you can’t delete everything! ?
  6. As an example, game against Preston, official attendance 17,865 actual 11,421. This season average 3,000 “sold” tickets/season cards aren’t being used. 1,000 tickets for the Bears game against South Africa weren’t used, leaving City v Manchester City as still the highest attendance at the redeveloped Ashton Gate!
  7. Millwall always perform on Luton’s pitch, well the supporters normally do!
  8. So, “The 32-team tournament will go ahead, making it like a World Cup.” Has he forgotten that the next World Cup is going to be 48 teams? Think there’s already too much football, our various cups have already lost their significance/importance, well to me anyway! Seems to be the same with all sports I enjoy, as there’s now too much horse racing, cricket and now football! Yes, I’m a grumpy old git! ?
  9. Not going to argue, as I don’t buy match day tickets, but I didn’t get my “senior” season card until I was 66, although guess it’s when your birthday is!
  10. Think City are actually 66, the state retirement age!
  11. Pretty certain the Long Ashton Park and Ride is closed on all Bank Holidays!
  12. Be interesting to see the level of take up from Swansea, don’t know if the toilets can take another battering?
  13. Obviously the Covid lockdown significantly effected 2021 figures. Anyway, better than a station in Nottinghamshire, which had 40 odd passengers!
  14. If you’ve ever been away to Wolves you would have experienced this first hand!
  15. You’re correct about the frequency, as there would have to be additional infrastructure costs to accommodate a more regular service. My (negative) thinking would be that trains may not run to Portishead after 10pm!
  16. I remember when the Ashton Gate halt was used for football “special” trains in the 70’s. The problem I see is that the scheduled service will be a two carriage train once an hour, getting home after an evening game maybe an issue, unless they have the brains to accommodate sporting and other events?
  17. There you go, just replace Katy Wren with…….. Rolling in the arms of the the fair Weimann ?
  18. Something familiar about some of the lyrics!? “Well I wish I were back home in Bristol again Arraising a cider with West Countrymen Rolling in the arms of the the fair Katy Wren Back Home in Bristol again Back Home in Bristol again We'll knock the milk churns over And we'll roll them in the clover The corn's half cut and so be we (The corn's half cut and so be we) Alright”
  19. This is the same as City fans at West Brom, the Swansea fans were waiting for their players to come to the Atyeo end to applaud them! As for police, for a start there were a significant number lined outside in between the Atyeo and Dolman!
  20. At last, someone who can spell Grobbelaar!?
  21. Might have been another game, or a different player, can’t remember now without watching again! ?
  22. Thought their interplay was very good!
  23. I did think of a woman drivers comment! ?
  24. Think back in the day, during the early 70’s, the final “tractor” was repeated a number of times!
